HengYiTang wellness Routique Hotel

This stay far exceeded our expectations, right from the moment we arrived in the ancient town. From our housekeeper Banxia's warm and attentive service, to the unique decor of the inn, to the relaxing foot bath provided in the evening, the delicious breakfast in the morning, and finally, being escorted to our car after check-out. It truly showed that the value of a hotel isn't just in its environment, but even more so in every smiling staff member. Service truly trumps everything else.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. They promptly helped us with any issues we encountered, making our trip very pleasant.

A truly delightful hotel experience from start to finish! From the moment I first contacted the butler, every step felt seamless and welcoming. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, paying close attention to every detail. Our room was spotless and beautifully appointed, with a lovely fragrance. It was spacious and well-equipped. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with scenic views at every turn, boasting a charming Jiangnan garden style. We enjoyed the special breakfast boat, afternoon tea, sachet DIY, and a unique foot bath service. It truly felt like a home away from home. I'm genuinely very satisfied, and both the elderly and children loved it. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Wuzhen.

An excellent hotel! (I've stayed in several different styles of five-star scenic hotels in Wuzhen before, and this one is my favorite.) Every staff member at the front desk and restaurant provided top-notch service. My child was very happy with the breakfast offerings 🥣. Both the public spaces' displays and the garden landscaping were beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The hotel's interior showcases various unique features and cultural literary elements everywhere; every arrangement is exquisite and elegant. It was an extremely satisfying stay. 👍👍

We booked a two-bedroom courtyard view suite. Since it was my parents' wedding anniversary, I informed our butler Banxia in advance. Upon arrival, we found the room beautifully decorated and a sweet handwritten card – a huge thank you to Banxia! The hotel's breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent, and the variety of drinks and fruits in the room was impressive! For dinner, we went to a restaurant recommended by Banxia. She even helped us reserve a prime scenic spot at the restaurant – another big thank you to Banxia! The food there was perfect for our taste, on the lighter side. We had such a wonderful vacation here! If we hadn't already booked our flights and itinerary, we definitely would have stayed another night! When we were leaving the hotel, we realized our child's phone watch was left behind. After telling Banxia, she immediately contacted a colleague to bring it to us at the scenic spot exit – so grateful! Next time we're in Wuzhen, we'll definitely stay here again! I highly recommend the Hengyitang Health Guesthouse in Wuzhen Xizha; it was the most delightful accommodation choice on this trip to Jiangnan. The old residence, originally a prominent Qian family estate from the late Qing Dynasty, features a classic Ming and Qing garden layout. With its black tiles, white walls, carved window lattices, and courtyard, it perfectly preserves the century-old charm of Jiangnan. Stepping inside felt like traveling back in time to an old waterside mansion. It's an oasis of calm amidst the bustling Xizha scenic area, providing excellent privacy despite being in the heart of it, completely isolated from the tourist crowds. Our butler, Chuchen, was also very nice, attentive, and thoughtful.

The exterior is a traditional Jiangnan water town residence, but the interior is a world of its own, with high-end facilities in every room. Stepping out, you're in misty Jiangnan; returning, you're in a luxurious manor. The contrast is striking and leaves a deep impression. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. I really appreciate the hotel arranging the boat check-in; it was a fantastic experience.
