"The motel is easy to get to from the ferry using the bus system. No one was around to greet us upon check in (around 4pm) but we did find a key box with an envelope. Not a big deal although usually we’d get a text to let us know if someone wasn’t going to be there at other places. Found our way to the room. Appeared tidy but not very clean. There was a big yellow stain on the skirting of the bedding, hairs in the bathroom, mould in the bathroom, questionable as to whether the quilt had been changed as it had sand and small sticks folded throughout. The bed was two singles zipped together and you could feel every spring. Flat pillows. Meals next door were great & having the pool was really handy. Pool towels were provided at the bistro. TV reception was terrible. After a long work week, I really wanted to just chill out and watch some tv. Our neighbours had asked someone to help with their tv and was told “the owners are away, I don’t know.” Not what we’d expect for $170 per night."

"No. Blanket. Chef can't cook. Waiting for dinner order for ages cause bar staff didn't send order to kitchen. Asked for lemonade, so bar staff made something sour. Go and ask for any type of fizzy then the bar staff say they have sprite 😆 🤣"
