Sonder at Artesa

A great stay. We were in the city to work, but also had our teen son with us. Simple, clean, comfy bed and just enough stuff in the kitchen to allow us to cook some meals in the unit. The best thing about the place is THE VIEW and outdoor space. It is an epic city view that dazzles at night. The gym is in the condo building next door and is clean, well equipped and wasn't overly crowded. There are two lovely cafes (Rooms, The Fix) within stumbling distance of the building. Overnight street parking permits from the city are more affordable than on-site and there was always street parking available a block away on Gladstone. The only thing that was missing in the unit for us was a suitable table/chair for working on a computer. Loved it and would definitely stay again.

The apartment was really lovely, had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Great location with a bus stop right outside the door and a tram line a 5 minute walk away. Two supermarkets and loads of cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. Check-in and out were seamless, will continue to use Sonder when I need a city holiday rental.

I checked into my Sonder and the room was unbelievably smelly (almost having the smell of BO from a previous guest??). I have had the window in the room open for several hours and the smell still hasn’t passed. I really don’t think this is acceptable and I would like you to know I’ll be rating this stay accordingly online. Definitely will not be using Sonder again! The group in the room below is also extremely loud and it’s late at night on a week day. I’m here for a conference and I booked this room to get some rest before presenting. This is super frustrating and one of the worse experiences I’ve had on a work trip.

Great place! Having a one-bedroom apartment for about the same price as a nice hotel room is a bonus. It was spacious with a big balcony, well supplied kitchen and very comfortable bed. There’s no parking in the building and the closest option at the very nearby Metro grocery store isn’t cheap. The best thing to do is to get a temporary parking permit online from the city but it has to be printed and left on your dash, so you have to do it ahead. But it allows you to park on any of the side streets in that area. The front desk staff were really nice but not always there. A couple of us were having a little challenge getting in when we were checking in (it’s the white square keypad immediately to the left of the inner entrance door) but then the person at the front desk finally appeared and helped us. I would happily stay at a Sonder again anywhere.

Great price and location. When travelling for business and being away for weeks at a time, it is nice to stay at a hotel that makes it feel like home! Having all the amenities and doing my own cooking and laundry was wonderful.

I booked a studio apartment as a solo traveller and I really enjoyed it. It had all I needed, including a comfortable bed, work station, full kitchen and lots of light. The building also includes a solid gym. I really enjoyed the area as well, good access to downtown. I used the sonder app for check in and customer support so my stay went very smoothly. I’d definitely recommend and would book again.

Wonderful stay here! Beautiful balcony and unit with great views of the city. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The area is also so close to everything, loved my stay!

We just loved this place!!! It’s incredible how much space we had… we just didn’t want to leave! Great area, beautiful building and what an incredible unit we had! Everything was brand new and of high quality. It was perfect for a family of three. We’ll be back for sure!
