Really nice hotel,staff helpful with very good English language,which was handy as my Italian is minimal,food good,room spacious and well maintained,pool and pool bar lovely Think hotel could do with a gym,and an indoor bar,and a bit more storage space in room,as after my wife had put her clothes in wardrobe/drawers,there was no space available for mine,but these didn’t spoil our stay,and would certainly return again.

Too many high hidden fees for coming across as a Hotel. The director was very kind and polite. The 2 bedrooms villa was poorly designed. We learnt that the resort has been recently taken over by another owner. With did not have an unpleasant stay but I cannot accept fees that sum up to the cost of an extra night.

We have just returned from this wonderful stay in Salento. What made it even more beautiful and relaxing was your wonderful and brand new accommodation facility with heated swimming pool, bar located in the water and kind and helpful staff. The rooms were spotless. The catering was excellent thanks to the Sicilian chef. The CDS staff was always present and ready to satisfy our requests. Greetings to Leonardo from Manuel. We couldn't wait to return to Puglia for a nice beach holiday and we did. We visited a beach every day and, fortunately, we caught a hot week. The residence, for us, was the optimal choice: a villa including everything in which we appreciated the reserved parking space, the outdoor shower, but above all the patio where we dined in the evening. The only drawback were the mosquitoes, as there were no mosquito nets, but we equipped ourselves with zampironi. We enjoyed breakfast at the bar very much, but even more the kindness and smile of the girls who work there and the free rental of an umbrella at the reception. They are small gestures that make the difference. A dutiful mention for Masssimo who has always made himself available. They told us, but it can be guessed from the work in progress, that next year the structure will become a hotel, maybe we'll see each other again! What can I say…every year we leave a little piece of our heart!! We stayed at Mare Live for the third consecutive year and this year we did three weeks, they were three super relaxing weeks for the location but above all for the professionalism of the Mare Live team and the director Davide who is always attentive to every need of every customer. We now feel like family.

Don't make the mistake of staying here.. The establishment is either under construction or abandoned. Buildings still under construction, unfinished villas, dangling electrical wires... all in front of your villa or even the swimming pool. With the prices being charged we expect a minimum of service and something high end.. but no, none of that. Avoid..really.
