"Lovely hotel with good location and parking spot 15-20 drives from Taormina, perfect place to stay between Taormina and Mount Etna. HIghly recommend spacious clean place with unbeaten price / has place to drop off luggage before and after checkin-out. Also available for late checkin with instructions to the room printed out. Only downside is if you have lots of luggages as you need to climb the stair up or down to get to your room. But overall we are very happy! Would recommend!"

"Lovely stay at Kalos Hotel after reading the reviews I must say the stay we had was better than expected firstly the breakfast is not just continental but bacon, eggs and mini sausages too. Secondly they do have a pool of their own you do not need to walk next door to use theirs. When you check out however there is no option for a room extension for extra time this did not affect us as we were leaving at 13.30. The bar had shut by 23.00 one night but really that is more to do with guests not arriving by that date we stayed five nights and at the end of the stay the hotel was much busier. On the whole a lovely place to stay and only 15 walk to the centre where there are plenty of restaurants."

"Perfect, except for the parking. You might wait over 20 minutes for the attendant, even if you call multiple times – he's in no hurry. We ended up using a nearby parking lot which was cheaper and always accessible."

"Hotel I Due Mori Luxury Rooms I am genuinely disgusted by the way I was treated at Hotel I Due Mori Luxury Rooms in Sicily. I had a confirmed 3-night reservation and later requested to extend my stay by one additional night. The host confirmed availability for the same room and sent me a payment link, which I paid immediately. The amount was successfully debited from my bank account and fully documented. Despite this, the following day while I was out on a pre-booked boat excursion I was informed that my room was “no longer available” and that I had to check out immediately due to another guest arriving. This directly contradicted the confirmed. When I questioned this, I was told the charge was “not reflected” on the host’s end, despite me providing clear bank proof that the payment had been successfully processed. Instead of properly verifying the transaction, I was repeatedly dismissed and told the issue was mine to prove. I was then told I had only one hour to return to the property and remove my belongings while I was still offshore. Upon arrival, I discovered my access to the building had been disabled. When I finally gained entry, I found my belongings had already been removed from my room without my consent and placed in the hallway. I was not given the opportunity to confirm whether anything had been left behind in the room. At no point was there a fair or professional attempt to resolve the situation. Communication was inconsistent, calls went unanswered, and no refund or resolution was offered or acknowledged. I travel frequently across Europe and have never experienced anything like this. A confirmed, paid reservation was not honored, my belongings were handled without authorization, and I was treated in a way that was both stressful and deeply disrespectful. I strongly warn future guests not to be distracted by the photos on the website and to be extremely mindful and cautious when booking or making a final decision to stay at this hotel."

"We had already been to Antico Borgo in 2019 . This is a wonderful hotel in amazing surroundings. Francesca,Guisy and the owner were so helpful and made the stay even more magical than in2019. We also enjoyed two of the dinner nights shared with arranged trips to the hotel where we were treated to Sicilian music and wonderful food. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. With views of Etna, the sea and orange groves (where we walked through daily to the smell of blossom), the stay was complete."

"The location and rooms were good. The main issue was the dinners which were awful, tasted like poor-quality school meals, and most dishes appeared frozen and reheated. We quickly gave up and ate in local restaurants despite having gone half-board."
