"Cignella was purchased through Travelzoo for a 5 night stay in a two bedroom villa. The best part was the morning breakfast. We needed to request toilet paper - we can laugh about it now. We did the first (and last) cooking class with 20 people. And that was our dinner. We needed to eat the pasta that everyone touched. No thanks. Also not even a salad was served or a dessert. We ordered drinks from the bar and no snacks were provided. No pricing options listed either. A fun surprise at the end. The pasta we made was a very small portion. We had snacks that we brought in from the grocery store. Thank goodness. We did cut our 5 night stay short and left after 3. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. The pasta making classes were led by Vincenzo - very unprofessional to say the least. Unclear instructions, touched his hair constantly and smoked in between while pasta was resting for 10 minutes. We never saw him was his hands. Overall it was disorganized. We made plans to eat elsewhere offsite. The villa had a ton of bugs and spiders. We didn’t open the windows or doors in hopes of keeping them out - but it didn’t work. They still got in. We never used the kitchen. No drinking water provided - only available for billing to the room. No activities during the day or a tour of the grounds or wine cellar as mentioned in the Travelzoo. Unclear who manages the property and it clearly needs an overhaul and training of staff for guest interaction. Lots of other properties in the area - I would try those instead."

"The entire Tuscany landscape is picturesque, and this guesthouse is the perfect finishing touch. We booked a duplex room, which was spacious and uniquely laid out. The only downside was that it was so quiet that our footsteps were quite loud when we got up at night. The guesthouse is nestled on a small hill, with its own cypress trees and a private pool. In the morning, we enjoyed a jog to the sunrise and morning dew, and in the evening, we relaxed on a bench enjoying the sunset – truly relaxing and pleasant. We had a delicious breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and also booked a family-style Italian dinner. Every dish was delicious, and my parents were very satisfied with the arrangements!"

"A typical European countryside resort hotel. The hotel is on a small hill. It is really dark when driving to the hotel at night. It is a completely dark road with no street lights for about 10 minutes. Don't doubt and just follow the navigation. The scenery of the hotel is very beautiful during the day, and the winter in Tuscany is also spectacular. There is a courtyard outside the room, and you can see the beautiful scenery when you walk out of the room. It is very comfortable. The hotel's breakfast is great, a family-style breakfast with a limited variety but all very fresh and delicious. It is a hotel that is impressive and I want to come back to stay again~"
