Beach Hotels in Urangan

A particularly good hotel, highly recommended for children. There is a beach swimming pool specially prepared for babies in the hotel, which can be used by both children and kids. The back door is the seaside, and there are supermarkets, restaurants and dessert shops in the surrounding area. I plan to stay here next time I return from the Great Barrier Reef.

We paid $686 for 2 nights here. The light in bathroom was a Floor that flicked and cut out yes I mean went out. The toilet seat was wonky, slipping off the side. We booked at the restaurant for dinner and it took at least an hour for our meals to arrive. Most disappointing of all was the ‘security car parking’ there simply is not enough. Totally inadequate. We have stayed many times at Ramada In Ballina where there are no issues with undercover secure parking. Many, a lot of Guests on the second night we stayed had to park off site in the streets surrounding the ‘resort’. For this kind of money I expect more. Originally I had requested our travel agent book us into the Oaks and with integrity the oaks informed us prior there were renovations taking place so we switched our booking to the Ramada. We should have stayed at the oaks as believe it or not we were woken up by builders working onsite at the Ramada (anyway).

The hotel was amazing as per usual, however the new staff member had no idea about the facilities and what each room had in them. We had a heap of microwave items we disposed of , just to find there was a microwave after being told there definitely wasn’t one. Maybe the staff need to look in the rooms every once and a while .

This was our second visit and we seem to enjoy it more every time we stay. The units (No 24 this time) are clean and comfortable. While some minor issues such as dripping taps and cracked tiles, we raised them with Deb straight away which was appreciated by management. We love seeing the birds and turtles and fish, even had a resident Butcher Bird get up close and personal, eating out of my partners hand. It is in great proximity to the beach and a morning walk to watch the sunrise at Urangan Pier is a real treat. Deb is a great host, providing great information about local places to see and things to do. Her beautiful ducks are also well loved pets and take right of way 🙂 We will definitely be returning and cannot wait until our next visit. Thanks Deb and Rod. From Jen and Steve

Motel is in a great spot but I would have to agree with others about the smoke detector not being attached to the ceiling…this is totally illegal and could be reported to authorities if they choose to let it go…and an audit on safety was to happen..I was going to mention it to them but couldn’t find anyone at check out time

Room was spacious and clean, pool area was nice and bbq facilities were good. Only negative was the wifi didn’t work in our room m.

We were very happy to be given the ground floor apartment and was appreciative of the closeness of the carpark due to mobility issues. However while we still had a view of the ocean it was compromised a bit due to the hedges between the adjoining apartments. Also while the deep spa bath in the apartment would be welcomed by many, we found it hard to get into due to our age and disabilities. Will check these things next time before booking. We have stayed in this Resort before in other types of units before our health issues changed and always found them to be good value for money and conveniently situated to the Marina, Cafes & and Boat Club.

Great 2 bedroom unit stay for our family of 2A and 2c. Shared bathroom including toilet in between rooms and ensuiting to the main. Shower head is fixed fairly low on the wall, so not ideal for tall people, water pressure however was great! Extremely comfortable bedding, best sleep in ages! Lounge was well equipped with large tv and comfortable recliners. Kitchen was well equipped and in room laundry was handy. Spare lounge/sofabed room was great for storing luggage. Large pool that had a crisp temperature for a hot day.. Bbqs close to the pool area for use. Undercover dedicated room parking close to room allocation. Secure entry to resort with room key fob. Fairly quiet resort considering it was school holidays, short walk to the boat club precinct. Would stay again.
