I had a wonderful stay at Bay Hotel Urayasu Ekimae. The location is excellent—just a few minutes walk from Urayasu Station, making it very easy to travel around Tokyo and even visit Tokyo Disney Resort. The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there are many restaurants, convenience stores, and a supermarket nearby which made it very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want a comfortable and affordable place to stay near Tokyo and Disney.✨

This is a typical modern Japanese-style twin room, with the toilet and bathroom separated. The room is quite spacious, featuring two 1.4-meter beds placed side-by-side, easily accommodating four people. It's equipped with a fridge, microwave, electric stove, and three frying pans, so you can cook your own meals. To get to Tokyo Disney, you'll need to take a bus, which costs 280 JPY. The front desk has bus route maps, and there are three lines that go to Disney, making it very convenient. The lobby is on the second floor, and the main entrance is often closed, requiring you to use the intercom, but it's very easy to use. There are three ladies on duty 24/7, so no worries there. A Lawson convenience store is on the ground floor, and a supermarket is behind it. There's also a Matsuya restaurant on the same street. Just a bit further down is Urayasu Station, which is very convenient.

We stayed here the night before visiting Disney. It's super convenient, only about a 15-minute taxi ride to Disney, and the hotel itself is just a 3-minute walk from the station. The area around the hotel is great too, with plenty of shops and a supermarket, which was really handy! The room felt more like an apartment, so it was very relaxing. All the staff were super friendly as well. I'd definitely stay here again!

This is a typical Japanese hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and polite, and some could speak a little English. You can store your luggage before and after check-in. The room was a bit old, and felt cramped for four people. The kitchen and electronic appliances in the room were quite dated, and I felt the laundry facilities weren't very clean. However, the bedding, towels, and pajamas were all spotless. The bathroom and shower were also reasonably clean. You can't hang clothes to dry on the balcony, so washed clothes had to be hung in the closet. The kitchen only had a pot and an electric kettle. The front desk provided various toiletries, as well as coffee and tea. The biggest advantage is the convenient transportation; it's very easy to take the subway to Tokyo's tourist attractions and the airport, and there's a convenient bus to Disneyland. There's a convenience store right downstairs, which was great for buying food. The cakes from the store across the street, 'Cai Lanzi,' were delicious and very affordable. There's also a pharmacy, supermarket, and mall nearby, making shopping very convenient. However, I wouldn't recommend the restaurant downstairs.

Cons: The room's cleanliness was a major issue. The bedding and walls had stains, the screen door was dusty. There were no power outlets near the table, and where there were outlets, there was no table. Plus, the outlets were loose. The hairdryer smelled bad, and the cabinet above the sink was full of dust. It seemed like no one had cleaned it before check-in, and the hardware maintenance was clearly subpar, which was very inconvenient. The door lock was an old-fashioned key lock, which was quite inconvenient. It was my first time seeing such an old lock; a kind foreigner from the next room even showed me how to use it. I highly recommend they replace it. And whatever you do, DO NOT open the shoe cabinet – the smell was nauseating. Pros: It's very convenient for getting to Disneyland. There's a bus stop on the street behind the hotel, you can get a map from the front desk. It's a quick 20-minute ride. However, there's no direct bus back to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient. Some staff members speak Chinese, and they are very helpful and quick to resolve issues. Unfortunately, the poor hardware and numerous problems made it quite troublesome. The price was good, and the room was much more spacious than other hotels in Japan, with plenty of room to open luggage. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. It's very close to the subway station, just a straight walk. There are many drugstores nearby where you can compare prices. I particularly liked the supermarket opposite the subway station, in the opposite direction from the hotel, as it had good prices. There are also many small convenience stores around, which is very convenient. The small street behind the hotel has many restaurants, and there's a McDonald's at the subway exit, making breakfast very easy. The supermarket across the street doesn't accept Alipay or WeChat, which is a bit inconvenient, but it does have Muji.
