"The bad review was for the hot tub. The water was warm at first, but not hot. It was not hot enough for a hot tub. The tourists who were soaking in it said that they had called the workers to fix it. My child and I started to feel slightly hot water pouring in a few minutes after we went in. After about 10 minutes, the water was a little hotter than at the beginning, but suddenly a large amount of cold water began to pour in. The pool quickly became cold, so we left quickly. The next morning, my child and I both caught a cold."

Restaurants and shops are conveniently located nearby, and the friendly and attentive staff makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a ski vacation!"

It’s a 40-minute (brisk) walk to Lionshead or a couple minutes by car to there, vail village, or further to Avon or Edward’s. Highly recommended."

"Wonderful stay at the Galatyn Lodge! Love the location on the edge of town, and closer to Betty Ford gardens. The Lodge is very clean, quiet, and a great place if you're travelling with your pet. Our lodge room was very clean and comfortable. Josh and Jody at the front desk are incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for our short weekend trip. We've stayed at a lot of places in Vail, and the Galatyn is the best. Will definitely be staying here again!"
