U Collection - a Luxury Collection Suites, Valletta

Excellent stay in the penthouse apartment for my husband and myself. It’s a beautiful place that’s well cared for and also in the ideal location. Any problems are sorted within minutes by Umberto whose customer service alone is worth 5 stars. Will definitely be staying here again.

It was amazing the apartment was incredible with the elevator directly into it. Everything was so perfectly clean and everyone was so friendly. The view ist very nice and also you are close to the water

The owners are wonderful. They are lovely, very attentive and helpful. The location is great - convenient to shops, restaurants cafes and attractions. The room was modern and immaculately clean. Valletta is a lovely city and this hotel is located in an area where one can enjoy it all.

This was an excellent stay. We stayed in the Panoramic Suite which was on the 3rd floor of the nicely restored U Collection Suites & Apartments. Located right behind the majestic St. John's Co-Cathedral, ideal short walking distance from all major sites. What makes it absolutely outstanding is the Staff! It is a family run property and the owners are very welcoming. We had a self-check in which worked greatly since we arrived late in the evening. Our Suite had lovely views and no sound from the street provided that the windows are closed. The Suite itself is very large and spacious with a living area that had a full kitchen, dishwasher, large flat screen TV with Netflix and an amazing sofa overlooking Queen's Square right next to the National Library. perfect size for 2 people and has everything you need. I can highly recommend this Wonderful place! The lift is quite small however it took us directly inside the apartment and was very convenient given that all palaces in Valletta have stairs. Thanks again for the hospitality! We will be back hopefully!

Spacious and modern room. Aromas of old Valletta plumbing can permeate the room No view though heavily advertised as with a view. Only the PH. Enjoyable street music until 11pm - Hot tub only for one room - No mini bar - Coffee provided first night only - no parking on site - no view except For top floor (I think this room is never available) - Safe is not safe. Check-in is ok. Kitchen with a washer/drier combo was nice. 2nd floor loft easily accessible by spiral stair. Though the mattress has seen many a good time Both baths are small and cramped only suitable for one person at a time. Impossible to not get water on the floor so be careful exiting. TV but no cable so is basically useless. The Internet is fast enough for travel as I have received 42 Mbs download speeds. The safe in the room is very convenient for your use. You can even lift it up and move it from room to room if you like. If desired you can actually walk around the streets of the city with it because it’s not bolted down in anyway. If you need a room for 6 and want to cook this may be a good option. If 2 or 3 then I highly recommend staying at Palazzo Jean Parisot Boutique Suites just around the corner. The rooftop dipping pool and patio is amazing with views of the three cities. Complementary bottle of red wine in the room. Breakfast is included. Proper safe and spacious shower. Beautiful room.

Staying in the penthouse was a blast, everything was as advertised, the terrasses, the jacuzzi, the big comfortable bed, the TV with Netflix. The apartment is ideally located in the absolute center of Valetta, with everything nearby, restaurants, bars, museums, churches. The host Umberto and his family were available, reactive and friendly from start to end, and always ready to be arranging (early check-in, kept our luggage until our plane). Overall 10/10, would warmly recommend to anyone who wants to have a memorable Maltese expérience.

As it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary we decided to treat ourselves to a stay in the Penthouse Suite. It was absolutely fabulous. Over two floors with views over the square with the hot tub on the first terrace a real bonus. Umbereto, the owner and manager, made our stay very smooth and even organised our transfer from / to the airport. ( thanks to the driver Matthew and his very smart BMW 5 series ) I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough. You will not be disappointed if you decide to book your stay here.

The property was everything one could need, clean, comfortable and safe. The luxurious property is well taken care of with care for every detail from the moment you enter. The beds are very comfortable and as hard as it is to get out of them, the penthouse has a breathtaking view to sit and read or simply enjoy your morning coffee. The property is right in the center and walkable to many bars, restaurants and shops. Valletta is full of history and things to do and see. There is also public transport within a 5 minute walk from the property, with busses that venture off to anywhere on the island. Umberto was quick to respond to any queries we had and very helpful with suggestions and ensuring our stay was an enjoyable one. It’s your very own home - even if just for a short while. Valletta is an open air museum and you get to be part of it here.
