It was generally very clean. The shared bathroom was also clean and comfortable. I gave the facilities a 4 because I thought it had to be shared.
Maybe because there weren't many people there, it was very quiet and I was able to sleep well at night.
The receptionist seemed a little cold, but she answered my questions properly, so maybe I was expecting too much Japanese service.

Living on the third floor, the bedding was dirty. There are only 20 old rooms on the entire floor and only one shared bathroom. I wonder how the hotel owner considered the problem?

Just thankful to get parkiing free but was tired and a bit tricky I was driving around few times around block not realizing where it was, then had to walk and walk up from 2 area where you can park as you can not take the elevator out of this parking lot.

Pleasantly surprised. Very clean, well maintained. Dated but quaint. I would stay again. No mini fridge or coffee service in the room but free coffee/tea is available in the morning.

We got there just their hot water quit. We did get a discount per day, which almost made up for the COLD showers.
But they were very nice about it. Location was right downtown. Were there from MN for a Wild game. Walked six blocks to the arena. Several restaurants along the way. Great place to start a walking tour of Vancouver!
At the bar next door, order a martini 'like David likes it".

I loved this hotel and, yes, I had a room with a shared bathroom. The hotel was incredibly clean yet also very cozy. The bathroom was 'shared', but it was in a spotless, private, lockable room. It was always available when required. For Vancouver, this is a lovely hotel and I would happily stay there again. Great, Central location, as well! Super close to the skytrain.
