Hotel Bachchan Palace

This hotel isn't luxurious. Initially, we were given a room that felt very uncomfortable; water was dripping in the bathroom, and the fan was creaking. After showering, the water wouldn't stop running, so they switched our room. The new room was much better. Pros: There's hot water (and a bucket to mix it with), comfortable beds, pillows are moderately comfortable, and the room was cool, but they provided good warm blankets. The elevator works, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is of average quality. It's better to walk down the street and eat at local places or at Raja Cafe, etc. They don't provide soap, shampoo, or other toiletries, even though it's mentioned on the receipt. They do provide toilet paper, and bottled water in the room, as well as water upon arrival.

It's easily accessible, within a 5-minute walk of tourist attractions. However, it's located in an area where cars can't enter, so if you're coming by car from the airport, you'll have to get on and off on a main road 10-15 minutes' walk away. The staff were all very friendly.

The location is great, near the gas station. But keep in mind that you can't get there by car.

The room is spacious, but the entrance is very narrow, looks a bit dangerous. But the location is very good, near the popular port of Varanasi.
