"I booked this hotel but made a mistake with the dates and immediately tried to cancel. I called four times and sent two emails, all within a short time after booking. On my first call, I was told they would forward my request to reception. On my second call, I asked to speak directly to reception – the response was: "We're not allowed to do that." On my third and fourth attempts, no one answered the phone. The next morning, I tried again – this time from a different number, as I suspected my call with caller ID wasn't being accepted. When I was supposed to be connected, the call was simply disconnected – followed by a busy signal. On my next call, yet another person answered, telling me to "just be patient." I calmly explained that I had already been patient for over 24 hours but urgently needed a decision – so that, for example, a family member could take over the room. But without a response, that's impossible. Then I received an email informing me that a cancellation as a gesture of goodwill was not possible because I had "responded too late"—even though my initial message was sent immediately after booking! The hotel's behavior was not only disappointing but disrespectful: • No attempt to reach them • No genuine effort • No customer service • And in the end, I was charged the full price without any attempt at compensation. I have already informed *********** about the incident—and it seems I'm not the first to have had a similar experience. In short: Anyone booking here should be aware that a small mistake can quickly cost you the full price—without any goodwill, without any compassion, without any reliability. To me, this is clearly a rip-off through a lack of transparency and inflexibility. Absolutely not recommended."

"A lovely peaceful hotel right by the airport . very quiet, lovely bedroom, and a free shuttle to the airport. We wouldn’t have stayed here if it wasn’t for Ryanair and their misnaming of an airport 120 km away from Frankfurt however if we were in the area again, we would stay again as this hotel was fantastic. A happy accident all around."

"The room and the bathroom were very nice, the breakfast really good. The view through the window was scenic: we could see the vineyards on the sloping hills. The experience would have been excellent, except the renovation of the building was not finished, the lift was not working (which for me was a major inconvenience). However, the hotel staff were really nice, polite and very helpful. In general, we had a great time. And particularly when the rate we paid was extremely reasonable, we have nothing to complain about. When the renovations will be shortly finished , it will be a great place to stay at."
