Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us

Beautiful property in an idyllic scenic setting. Our rooms (Normandy Suite) were gorgeous with a handy little kitchenette. There's a lovely path from right outside the property down to the bay below and good sea views (when the sea mist clears). We didn't find the proprietors overly friendly but to be fair we weren't speaking to them in their own language so perhaps they simply aren't so confident in using English as larger establishments would be. The only thing that spoiled our one night stay was that we couldn't use our lovely big balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people having a noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us (they were perfectly well behaved but such a large and excited party inevitably makes a lot of noisy chatter). I guess we were just unlucky (we'd booked the property specifically for the balcony views and peace and quiet, and it was a bit annoying considering the proprietor had asked us to take our shoes off while walking around our rooms so we didn't disturb guests below us!)
