A brief stop on our travels. We had a nice walk around town and a comfortable room. We left before the 8 am breakfast so can’t comment on that.

We have stayed at this property twice while touring the Eastern Shore on bicycles. Rooms are clean and have all necessary amenities. Staff helpful and friendly. Responded immediately to a problem with the heating and cooling system in one of our rooms and quickly resolved the issue. A good seafood restaurant is just steps away. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Virginia’s Eastern Shore.

It was a pleasure staying at the Watchapreague Inn. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area, it’s right on the water, with a beautiful park with gazebo across the street, as well as a top rated seafood restaurant. The bed was stiff, and the staff actually brought me a foam mattress topper! My husband loved his stiff bed. Great little gift shop with a wide selection of t-shirts and gifts, free breakfast, very good coffee, free bicycles and kayaks too. I highly recommend this place! It’s not the fanciest or newest, but you can’t beat all the extras for the price.

We have a great stay. Great location and activities to do. Nice restaurant next door. Golf carts, Kayaks, and charter boat rentals. Free bikes to use.

Great little place to stay. It is quiet in a nice little town. Very hospitable staff and very clean. Close to the water if you want to kayak or fish.

Friendly, quiet getaway Everyone was friendly! After making the reservation online, I received a phone call from Jonathan confirming and thanking me for booking with them. This quaint inn is quiet, accommodating and perfect for my short stay in the area--even for a holiday weekend. I purchased an extension cord and it worked perfectly to blow dry and style my hair at the mirror. This inn was constructed at a time when multiple outlets were not necessary and the ocean breeze would style your hair anyway.

This is place is a gem! Quiet, off of the beaten trail, & right on the water. Nothing fancy, but then are you on vacation just to stay in a hotel room - No! The bed was comfortable (pillow top mattress) and the people are wonderful! We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks & extended our stay by 1 night because of hurricane damage to our ultimate destination.

I'd read reviews left by others prior to our visit, and was able to get a 2 night reservation a few days before our planned visit. My husband and I wanted lodging off the beaten path with a restaurant nearby. The Wachapreague Inn was perfect. We stayed in Room #18, with a king bed, super comfortable mattress, plenty of hot water for showers, nice size TV, little table with a couple chairs, coffee pot and more. The staff was friendly, focused on making sure we were comfortable, and had what we needed. We also liked the 2 outside chairs underneath the cover of the extended roof. I enjoyed early morning and evening walks, down main street, snapping pictures along the way. We ate both evenings at the Island House, just a few steps from the Inn. Food and service were top notch both times. We'll definitely stay here again.
