To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement.
1. We were asked if we wanted an “upgrade” upon check in because the hotel was oversold. However, the “upgrade” would have meant our son would have to sleep on a couch, because there was only one bed. We declined and were told they would find a room with the two beds we booked.
2. We were given a room, but upon entering the room another couple was startled upon our entry. They gave us a room that was already occupied by guests.
3. We headed back downstairs, told the front desk about the issue and we were given another room on a different floor.
4. We come back to the hotel from dinner to find out both elevators were broken.
5. The thermostat kept falling off the wall, and batteries popping out.
6. We went downstairs for breakfast and needed to be done in an hour. There were two other tables and 5 people total. One waitress. After 10 min she came by our table and we told her we’d order quick and needed to be out by 9. She seemed very bothered by this request and she said she didn’t think they could do that, but she’d ask the chef. Well, they agreed, we ordered eggs, bacon and toast. She literally ran around the restaurant the rest of the time we were there. Literally ran, as in an actual jog. No other tables came in, it wasn’t crowded. We felt like every employee was frazzled and stressed. For $300 per night I expected a better experience.
