The facility was clean and quiet. It is in a nice neighborhood within close driving distance to all of the Hilo attractions. The desk person had helpful suggestions for local restaurants and activities. My wife and I stayed for a weekend, and recommend Arnott's. It's a great pace for under $200 per night.

Be careful! Be careful.
I booked a room of 36 square meters, but was given a room of *** square meters. After showing the area on the reservation confirmation, the lady said there were no other rooms available, and according to the hotel agreement, no refunds would be given if I wanted to check out.
The facilities are typical of a motel. It can be described as simple.

I highly recommend staying at Arnott’s. Not only was the lodge clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience here in Hilo. If you have the chance to sit and coffee with Doug (the owner), you won’t regret it!

The room was too small. No room for luggage. Towels were stored on table. Bathroom was hard to move around in. I never thought that I would ever have to check before to see if there was a tv in the room. The room was neat and tidy though, but wasn’t worth what I paid for it.

It was in a nice neighborhood surrounded by green, lush gardens. The beach was very close.

The staff was amazing. Mahana was so friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for more. She is amazing. Michael was also very sweet and helpful. The property is set up so inviting and cozy with lots of community areas.
