Hamilton Inn Select Beachfront

Upon arrival we were greeted with smiles and laughter, The front desk ladies were all very polite and so helpful, The hotel was clean and the hotel staff everywhere you went spoke and smiled, The bedroom was clean and the beds are comfortable, We would definitely stay again.

We came here for a getaway from our busy home life. The hotel is huge and nice on the outside. Easy checkin. Laundry room, vending machine all near by my room. Plently of towels for two people to use for a couple days. Jacuzzi was real nice and it was big enough for my big girl body to lay flat and still have room for another person. The water covers everything. We went during winter, so it wasnt busy and very quiet. Breakfast was yummy. Loved the many choices and buffet. They have a pool and tub i didnt use those and the flyer in my room said there was a fitness room but we didnt check or see. Also it said we got 2 waterpark passes, didnt get them also didnt know they had a waterpark. Our king size bed was perfect, i havnt sleep great like that in a long time. I have no complaints about the room except wifi was terrible i ended up using my data. Nothing was open except the saloon and im not paying $45 for one person. So if you come during the winter time, go to another city for food and shops. I would love to had stay another day but we are needed back home. Ill definitely come back. My only complaint was the day of my check out housekeeping bang on the door at 9am just to see if we are still here... (RUDE)

Young lady at front desk was exceptional. Very friendly and personable. Rooms were clean and very nice.

Very relaxing the hot tub was nice. Although even though I booked in advance I would have thought someone would make sure the heat was on took 3-4 hours for the room to warm up the room was nice bed was comfy could have used a microwave and since you already have waffles how bout eggs instead of pancakes just a suggestion all in all was a wonderful trip enjoyed our room, watching the sunrise over the lake, and just relaxing in a peaceful quiet hotel. Also notes to others most everything is closed during the winter months there's a few restaurants around but more in the neighboring city of cheyboygan

Fifi is amazing and will remember your name since I’ve been here several times already! Love the full breakfast, coffee, location and the hot tub! Beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. Awesome hot shower too!

During checkin, they put us in a room type that wasn't what I reserved. They claimed it was an upgrade. We went to that room and knew we did not want that room. We went back to the desk and then they gave us the room type we reserved. Wish they had just done that in the first place.

Very important when you get a room here you had better tell them you want a Lakeshore view and not a view of the parking lot. This room was very old and dated not to mention hair in the shower, and the carpet could’ve used the good vacuuming..there was food under the table.. the front desk manager was very rude however The other lady was very nice and when our keys didn’t work when we got to the room she reprogrammed them and came up with me To make sure they were working. Won’t make this mistake again.
