This property has units spread out across a decent area, so the rooms are clustered by buildings. We were in the suites which overlook the golf course. The view was pretty and the setting in the woods was peaceful. We were there in February so it was very quiet - not sure if there is more people during the summer. You can tell they are trying to make upgrades to the property, but the "bones" feel a bit tired/well used. Our room was fine, but the TV volume didnt work and one of the dresser drawers kept sliding open (we had to sit a bag in front of it so we didn't run into it). It was fine for a one night stay/stopover which is what we needed it for.

Christmas eve. Understaffed restaurant waited 45 minutes for a dish. Staff friendly, grounds were nice. Signage could be better, google gave incorrect directions. Smell of fake logs burning in fireplaces was weird being in a glut of pine in the area.

Overall the place is cozy and we had so much fun! I was expecting the room to be extremely out dated giving all the reviews but it was nice! And it’s looks like they have been remodeling! Only reason I won’t give 5 stars is because the continental breakfast wasn’t anything special. Giving how much we paid to stay here I thought we would at least get a good breakfast. All there was, was watery oa**eal, sugary cereal, and pastry’s. And then Saturday morning we went down and they had eggs, breakfast meats and we were told if we wanted a plate it’s $10 per person. So be prepared to buy breakfast if staying here! The spa and fitness center was closed and it would have been extremely expensive to golf. So good thing we went snowboarding other than that, not much else to do.

Convenient and affordable for skiing at Mt Hood. Property needs updating, and is under construction/remodel. Heating in room was inadequate. Hot tub very small for this very large complex.

TV did not work so I wanted to call front desk and that's when I found out the phone did not work. Woke up in the morning and the room coffee machine was not working. I can understand one unexpected failure, but three in one room is neglect.

Nice room, enjoyed the hot tub & pool. Good continental breakfast. Beautiful grounds - tall fir trees. Only drawback was that outdoor lighting was non-existent during our stay, which was both an inconvenience and a safety hazard. Bldg. 4
