The hotel is very close to the park entrance. There are many snacks outside. The breakfast variety is not bad. There are many specialty shops. There is also a live-fire shooting site nearby. The environment is okay.

Everything else is good, except that the four pillows on the bed are all the same size, so I can't choose the one that suits me when sleeping.

It is was very nice. Good value for price. It was clean, had parking lot, washing and drying machine, swimming pool, yakuzzy. Location: takes ca 5min of driving to West Yellowstone gate. Many shops and restaurants nearby 1-5min of walking in the town. Breakfast buffet included omelette with cheese, sausages, muffins, waffles, yoghurt, oa**eal and cereals. Staff was very nice. I really liked the nature-related decoration.

Great place to stay, super close to the entrance to the park. Restaurants and grocery stores close by. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The breakfast was a great start to the day. We definitely will be staying there again the next time we are in yellowstone.

From the outside, you might think to pass this by. However, the rooms are nice, the staff is excellent and the free breakfast is a plenty! Very close (walkable) to many stores, restaurants and the West entrance. I highly recommend staying here!

Is this really a 5 star place? Probably not when compared to the best places I have stayed, but for West Yellowstone and the price I paid for accommodations, it felt that way. The room was similar to a good Best Western and the breakfast was good enough, though I had to punt on the eggs as they had cheese on them. The owner was friendly and the lobby had a nice sitting area with some excellent reading material. My goal was a good night's sleep and something for breakfast at a reasonable price and that is what I got. I would do it again.

I can't believe this delightful motel is currently ranked #33 on TripAdvisor. I booked a room here based on the glowing reviews and it did not disappoint. We arrived in town earlier than we expected and Jackie at the front desk was so nice. Even though we couldn't get into the room yet, she basically checked us in so that all we had to do was grab our room key when we came back that evening after exploring Yellowstone. In fact, she called us on our way to the park and said that our room was ready if we had time to turn around. It was so sweet of her. The room itself was so clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also better than I expected. Thanks for a great stay!

I chose Crosswinds because it had good reviews. The room was clean. The inn had be remodeled recently you could tell from inside. Bed was comfortable.. Breakfast was really good. Staff super nice. I highly recommend Crosswinds Inn.
