I made a booking mistake and Ctrip charged me as usual. The hotel refused to negotiate, which was really upsetting. And we even planned to stay here for another ten days! So disappointing.

Overall, it was just okay, and not really worth the price. Being in Chicago, it was quite expensive, and on Saturday, the price hike meant you couldn't even get a room. It's also far from the city center with no food options nearby. I'd say it was pretty average.

The location is excellent and parking is free, very convenient, and the decor is very nice. However, our room wasn't cleaned for several days; they kept ignoring us. I asked for a hairdryer because it wasn't provided in the room, and I had to come back another day because they still hadn't brought it. The staff (not all of them; the cafeteria and maintenance staff are super friendly) are quite curt and unfriendly; they seemed to mind working and were inattentive.

Overall, the room way clean, but the bathroom had strands of hair scattered on various surfaces. Otherwise, it was clean.

Your basic run of the mill hotel. Staff were courteous and professional, however my only complaint was that my remote in my room seems to be out of battery. When I called to possibly get new ones I was told that only a maintenance worker would be able to change the batteries. Maybe enable the staff to resolve minor issues in the future.
