I found Northern Lights Resort & Spa when researching for a place to celebrate my husband's 49th B-Day... and I have to say, we found a hidden gem in the Yukon territory!! Lynn and Toby, with the support of their amazing team, pampered us from day one making us feel welcomed and appreciated at all times. They provided an impecable service, a delicious cuisine in their 3 daily meals, and ended each night creating a unique experience by the fire with a cup of cocoa while searching (and seeing!) for the great northern lights. Our cabin was very comfortable, extremely clean and specially warm in this Yukon weather. Their Spa services is simply a must! Make sure to book a massage and trust me, it will be the highlight of your day. The Northern Lights R&S team also connected us with all the offering the Whitehorse area has to offer. We did dog sledding with the award winning Marcel and her beautiful dogs, visited the Yukon Reserve Wildlife and even ended one of our days at the Eclipse Hot Springs. On the night of my husband`s birthday, they created the ambience to celebrate him with the rest of the guests, cake and bottle of champagne included as part of a celebration package. Bottom line, we are coming back in summer for the summer experience and we highly recommend them!!

The Northern Lights Resort & Spa was a wonderful escape! The Cabin was lovely, bright, super clean as well as warm and cozy! The view of the Mountains during the day was spectacular and even though we went out every night, we could still see the Northern Lights from the windows! The Lodge was also beautiful and the food was really good! It was made fresh and hand served to us at every meal. The massage was wonderful and the sauna was a nice addition. Toby, Lynn and their staff are all friendly, kind and very welcoming. Now, the best part, we got to see the Northern Lights all 3 nights we were there! The guide outside kept the roaring fire going and was so helpful with picture taking etc! We were very lucky to have shared this experience with a lovely group of guests and we all shared our pictures with one another! We would definitely recommend this trip to our friends and family.

This is a great location, away from the Whitehorse city lights, from which to see the northern lights (if they are out and the clouds are not!). If you stayed in the city, you would probably have to book separate excursions each night in hopes of seeing the lights; if you stay here you can just wander outside at any point, or go inside to warm up. Airport pick-up and drop-off was smooth, and they even let us ride in to town with others going to the airport one day to go cross-country skiing. The log cabin was spacious, warm and comfortable; request the "Fire****" one as it has large picture windows looking east and north, so you can watch for the lights from inside. The property is large enough to provide a good walk or snowshoe (provided) hike as a daytime activity. Someone on staff built a fire every night at 10 pm so we could keep warm outside while watching for the lights. Renting the warm clothing is definitely a good idea for those of us from the south! Overall, highly recommended.

Would love to go back. The room was 5 star and the snow outside made the view so picturesque. We took advantage of the trails to go for walks. Dinner each night was excellent but it was the campfire at night that gave all the guests a chance to get to know each other and over hot chocolate appreciate the amazing night sky. We were lucky to see the northern lights on our first night. Unforgettable! Would love to make special mention of two fellow guests, the V2 sisters who entertained us

What an amazing experience!! The resort is rustic chic, a classic log cabin, supremely decorated, with professional photography of the Northern Lights as well as original paintings. The spa, sauna, message, and restroom rooms are exceptionally clean. The Glass Chalets and Cabins rented by our group were also well decorated, warm, and inviting. Each meal was delicious and unique. In closing, the Proprietor Tobias and Lynn, in addition to all the staff and guides for each of our chosen adventures, we're very welcoming, kind, professional, and very accommodating. Don't miss out on a message. You will melt with pleasure. Oh!! It would be an understatement to say that the viewing of the Northern Lights was breathtaking. No photos could do them justice. Thank you to all at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa. We will return.

Everything was wonderful. The room in the glass chalet was clean and had everything we needed. Loved the windows for nighttime Aurora viewing! The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The Aurora alarm in the rooms is a fantastic idea. The food was awesome and they even had non dairy milk for my morning coffee. I can’t eat dairy and am vegetarian and they provided delicious options for me. Notify them ahead of time if you have food restrictions.

This is a beautiful and small resort with individual cabins. It is all very cozy and comfortable. The price includes breakfast, lunch and dinner and the chef is fabulous. Every meal we had was excellent. The service is great also. There are several activities the owners ( Lynn and Toby) can help you book including dogsledding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. This resort is about 30 min outside of Whitehorse so that is another fun activity to take the day to explore it. Every night there is a great possibility of seeing the northern lights right outside your cabin at certain times of year. The staff asks if you want to be awoken up until 1 am if they are within view. There are a few beautiful trails to do either on foot or snowshoe right on the property or you can read a book in their central great room or your own cabin with a gas fire. This was a great and relaxing experience I highly recommend. We would definitely consider returning again.
