"In July 2025 we went the Unstrut bike path, with a small "Kyffhauser-Stecker" to Bad Frankenhausen. In the forefront we had booked here by phone, and the check-in at the reception in 1 OG was excellent. Our room? No 5 stars, rather nicely small and fine. Bicycle was allowed to take on to the room to load the walking circuit. OK. Problem: Our room had access to the large balcony in front of the house. Others had it on the floor too. Even at the time of sleep, smokers from the other rooms gathered there to smoke and smoke rudely. If we stay here again, we will probably avoid these exact room numbers 110 to 120. The restaurant? 1a. We took it out there with a view to the bad church. Service, advice, selection, “living time” and especially quality have pleasantly surprised us."

"We had the shame of being stayed in a room which is unfortunately a challenge for non-disabled people. The front and the room separates a 25 cm high level. This is a source of danger that is not mentioned at all except the receptionist when checking in. We are an older couple and we have our problems at high levels. You should point out on the website that there are such rooms. I didn't think of the stage for a moment and I fell hard so I had to go to the doctor. The holiday was only limited possible. My criticism is about management that cannot destroy such a source of danger and sufficiently identify. Therefore, only two points from me. Otherwise everything is okay."
