A quasi-five-star hotel in the UK is probably the domestic four-star standard👍🏻
The environment is still good and very quiet.

I agree with the majority of other reviews, the place is slightly run down, however it’s on slight. The food, beer and accommodation are more than adequate for a couple of nights, especially if you are there in business. The lounge is also a brilliant facility with some lovely views that you won’t get in your mainstream hotels.

Hired a conference room for a 3 day event. All of the staff were friendly with the drinks constantly being filled up,but Natalie on the front desk was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble for her. Thanks Natalie, you're a star. We will be returning.

I should have looked at the fairly even split across the star ratings to see that this was probably not going to be the best stay. £125 for room only. The room was absolutely nothing like the pictures advertised in the website and our room looked like dark, dingy, sad staff accommodation. Dated, shabby and with thin pale cheap furniture from many years gone by possibly picked up from an old motel that had closed down. The bathroom needs gutting and the ill fitting old Lino and shower curtain replaced.A hotel only needs to make sure that its bedrooms are worth the money. Sadly, this room was not and I’d be happy to receive a refund for a wrongly described and sold room. If I’d paid £50 then fair enough, but this room no where near warrants the £125 price tag.

Had a really great experience at the event. Lovely variety of local venders which provided lots of food and entertainment options. The team reacted well to the sudden downpour and everyone was moved indoors to continue the event. Very well organised and a great atmosphere! Great for families and groups of friends

got married here on 1/5/2024. after a rocky road we came across the Grange hotel and Maria and all of the team were incredible. They couldn’t do enough for us and all our guests. They made our wedding not just possible but completely magical. They set up all our decorations they made our visions come to life and did a beautiful job. Friendly and super approachable we cannot recommend them enough. Our children were treated like royalty by the staff who couldn’t do enough for them. No request was too much even down to one wonderful member of staff helping with my hair on the day (twice) We will be returning for our anniversary and honestly if you’re looking for a wedding, party or just a relaxed night away in gorgeous grounds you must visit the Grange!

We had an amazing time for a Baby Shower. Staff very attentive, professional and helpful. Food amazing and very tasty. Venue perfect. Excellent all round. Everyone had an amazing time. Room was perfect with outside space to use. Grounds amazing for kids to run around whilst adults chilled. Perfect day.
