Very nice Adirondack getaway. Microwave and refrigerator in the room was very convenient. My only complaint was there was hair on the shower walls and in the drain from previous people. Very quiet and peaceful environment

Owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. Motel is under renovations but they made sure we were aware ahead of time. Rooms that are currently available are cute and comfy and had everything we needed. We can't wait to see the motel when renovations are complete as it already has lots of charm with "Adirondack" type decor.

My girlfriend and i really enjoyed our stay. Nice location with things to do. I met the property owner and had an enjoyable conversation. The only issue was the uncomfortable bed. I believe the owner had just purchased the property and will make the adjustment in time. We would visit again

Cozy mountain rooms and nice staff. Disappointed there was no warning the pool was completely drained when website said it was open all summer.

Owners are nice folks working to rebuild kind of a iconic motel. I like to support them when I can and unfortunately for my next trip, they were sold out (good for them).
Nothing fancy, but comfortable and I always sleep well, there.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mountain Brook Lodge while spending some time hiking and exploring Lake Placid. My children loved the bunk beds and the room was very clean and comfortable. The motel needs a bit of TLC and it appears that there is some work being done to upgrade things. The outward appearance is a bit rough around the edges, but the room itself had everything we needed and was charming. It seems the staff really took pride in the cleanliness of the rooms and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great visit and a nice stay!
