Given the price, it’s a definite up to the standard. Close to the city centre and free parking

I had requested a wet room at the time of booking but when I changed the date the message had got lost and I had to cope with a shower in the bath (when I went to reception to ask for a non-slip mat it was not staffed). My dinner was booked with staff for 8 but did not arrive until nearly 8.45. There were apologies for both incidents but this did not take away from the problems. The main problem with dinner seemed to be staff shortages. I was charged subsequently £34.50 for the cost of the room on the relevant date - despite the fact that I had the wrong type of room. I was offered a complimentary breakfast in apology for the booking problem (I'm not sure if the original booking included breakfast or not). Breakfast was OK. It was amusing when two separate sets of guests commiserated with me over the dinner chaos. On a lesser point I was not able to access the lift from the garage to reception on arrival as I did not have a room key and was forced to carry my case up the stairs which is difficult when you are on a walking stick.

The kitchen had closed but they managed to provide a hot meal for our little girl when we arrived late after a long journey. Friendly and service above and beyond.

Reception staff were totally disinterested and took glee in telling us that the restaurant was full and we wouldn’t get any food there that night. Poor service for residents after an extremely long journey!

Lovely staff, good location to walk into Winchester. The restaurant is a tyme..the food was absolutely awful. Really bad.i had chicken with corn on the cob. Turned out to be 2 discs of corn and some rocket that looked like it was fresh in 2022..premier has cut corners with their restaurants.

I’ve stayed in loads of Premier Inns as you generally know what you’re going to get. I was pleasantly surprised with this stay, especially with how good the staff were. They were friendly, helpful and competent. Really doing a great job. Rooms as usual - comfortable and with the basics provided.

Plenty of Car Parking space, mostly under cover. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Pleasant, airy room offering excellent facilities. Cleanliness all excellent. Excellent breakfast with large choice of freshly cooked food and fresh alternatives.

Over all, a satisfactory experience, apart from a couple of small details. Nevertheless, we would be happy to return to a Premier Inn sometime in the future.
