Our family had an extended long weekend at Tower Hill House. A comfortable farm style house with a wood fire and reverse cycle heating. Located halfway between Warrnambool and Port Fairy, the home sits on the side of a volcanic area overlooking the Southern Ocean. A short walk up the back yard and over the fence and you find yourself at Tower Hill Reserve. Lots of local wildlife, kangaroos, wallabies, emus to name a few. The volcano is surrounded by wetlands making an absolutely picturesque outlook. Lots of paths to walk and investigate. Tower Hill House (THH) is about 3 minutes drive from the beach, or you could drive either way to Warrnambool or Port Fairy where you could spend hours discovering all the local history of the Shipwreck Coast. Lots to see along this coastline. We will definitely return to discover more.
