"Hotel within easy walking distance from the centre of town, rooms at the back overlook the small canal and are the quieter option. Free parking across the street. Some rooms only accessible by stairs or in separate building next door. If you stay there you will need to go outside to go to breakfast. Beds are narrow single beds with duvet. Shower in bathroom a little inconvenient, as they make the whole bathroom wet. Breakfast okay, with tasty bacon and scrambled eggs. Forget the coffee as it comes from a thermos flask and was not really drinkable."

"Lovely one night stay with my wife in this restored old warehouse along the old port of Harlingen. It was an extreme windy day/night with the gusts causing the building to tremble. Very spacious and well equipped room including nice bathroom. The reception is in another hotel at some 100 metres down the road, also breakfast is served there. Very nice and well positioned in the old centre."
