Starway Hotel (Wuyishan Tourist Resort)

The front desk service was great, the hotel location is quite good, and the breakfast selection was plentiful. It was a comfortable stay, so I extended it for another day.

They kindly upgraded us to a king-size room with a view for free. The staff were very patient answering all our questions and even gave us lots of snacks and tea as a gift. Really nice!

Located in Sangu Resort, there's not much to explore nearby, but it's very peaceful. Breakfast is just average.

This is a decent hotel, quite quiet. The room facilities are a bit old but very clean. Definitely worth recommending! The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast is alright. The hotel is also very close to the Wuyishan scenic area, which is quite convenient.

The room was elegant and comfortable, and the bedding was great for a good night's sleep. The front desk upgraded us to a room with a view, and we had a stunning window view of the 'King' and 'Jade Girl' peaks. We got caught in the rain, and our clothes got soaked, so we were really grateful that the hotel offered convenient laundry and drying services. You can take bus No. 16 from Wuyi Palace to Xiangshushi Road Intersection. Get off, cross the road, walk a little further, and the hotel will be on your right. In the afternoon, there's a fantastic street vendor selling authentic charcoal-grilled 'Guangbing' nearby – they're fragrant, crispy, and absolutely delicious!

Facilities: The parking is very convenient, and electric cars can be charged. Environment: Clean and tidy. Service: The service was excellent and very warm-hearted. After checking in, they offered cookies and other small snacks, which the kids loved. Room amenities: They provided local tea as a gift.

This place is a far cry from its pictures. I'm not sure why it's ranked second in Wuyishan. The air conditioning is an old wall-mounted unit, there are water stains in the bathroom, and the room itself is old and dirty. Absolutely do not recommend. Breakfast had a lot of variety, but the quality was really poor. It's only slightly bigger than a standard budget hotel.

Traveling with my family to Wuyi Mountain for Chinese New Year. The location is decent, and getting a taxi is very convenient. The room is like what you'd find in a guesthouse. Breakfast was just okay, but the service was quite good.
