FOGGY VALLEY

Our stay at Foggy Valley Inn was magical! Huo and his family made us feel so much at home and were generous with their time and help! Not only is the hotel thoughtfully decorated to take in the views of the mountains, but the surrounding property had little trails that our kids were able to go on and explore the small waterfall and bamboo forest. Huo especially was helpful in helping us make arrangements for shows, shopping and guides to all the major sites in the area - and was always ready to drive us to anywhere we wanted to go. A truly memorable experience!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed by far during our trip to Changsha. The property is so beautiful and the service was amazing. Henry and小胡管家are extremely helpful. We are so glad we stayed for 3 nights during this trip and will definitely will go back again!

Very nice hotel with style. I really love the design and decoration. The view, the tea, the food, the services are great. I will come again for Zhangjiajie.

The hotel is exceptionally good. The location is near to the East Gate of Zhang Jia Jie National Park Entrance. The food served by the hotel is authentic local food. But what impressed me is the services provided by the hotel. Mr Hu and his team is exceptional in provided the utmost best service. From the advice provided to us for the potential route to take in the national park to the arrangement of transport to and fro of your destination. He will make sure what you asked for are delivered. In our last day, my wife left her cap in the taxi. He arranged personally for the taxi to U turn to send the cap back to us at no additional costs. We were really impressed with the hotel amenities and their services.

This is a luxury boutique resort in the middle of the mountain. The view is magnificent, really represent Zhangjiajie beauty. The hosts are really friendly, always trying to help and provide good service. Breakfast is simple but have decent selection. Location wise is a bit off the city, so depends on what you’re looking for. If prefer crowd and near restaurants, this might not be the best choice. There’re some construction going on during our visit but not a big issue. Overall, a really pleasant stay for us. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a stunning room in a spectacular setting, look no further. This stay was a 10/10 for me. Our room was complete with deep soaking tub looking out at the famous Zhangjiajie mountain peaks, dry sauna - perfect after a long day of hiking, rain shower, luxury toilet, and super comfortable king bed. The zen tea service by 紫珊 (Shan Zi) was excellent, and she helped to translate some information for me about the tea on her phone. The staff here is so friendly and I’m sure could accommodate anyone in any language; so don’t worry about language barriers, the room is totally worth it. The kind man who checked us in (whose name I didn’t catch) generously offered to drive us to and from the National Forest and helped us with transport back to the airport. The local Breakfast provided was delicious! I’m so glad I decided to book here and would 100% return and recommend to others, if it is within their means. I rarely write reviews. But this place is definitely deserves one, and a very good one. Besides a great room with a bath and a sauna, the hotel placement is among the best you can get in Zhangjiajie(5 minutes drive from the Scenic area). The building itself is magnificent. Tens of different tea tables inside and outside. They make all kinds of great teas. Three cute and playful cats on the territory. Nice breakfast and good variety of dishes for dinner. Another major part - the staff is very helpful. Zishan and Huqing did everything so we could have a great trip. For everyone who is into aesthetics, good architecture and a spa-like hotel rooms - this is the place.

Beautiful new hotel and wonderful staff! Everybody has been always very helpful, Hu in particular. Only suggestion for improvement is to have ideally more western breakfast and dinner options in the menu and have a smoother transportation to the swimming pool.. But design, tea ceremony and support are 5 stars! Thanks again
