It's incredibly quiet, and having two sunny balconies is a huge plus. Lying on the balcony at night and taking photos feels so luxurious. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The owner is super nice; they even helped us call taxis when we went out, and at reasonable prices too. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

Cleanliness: Very well done and professional. On the level of a hotel. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bottles of water, tea were all provided. Free laundry was included as well and the housekeeper helped us dry our clothes while we were away as well. Location: Right on the steps of Tianmen Mountain. Location was excellent and it only took about 5 minutes driving to go to the cablecars. You can see Tianmen Cave from your room. The picture I uploaded is the view of the mountain from our door, unfortunately a large cloud is right in front of the cave. Service: Went out of their way to help us. Came to pick us up from the train station and made every part of the process easy. I texted the owner throughout the day and he would give me updates on weather, park closures, things to do, etc. Even helped us book tickets and gave us rides for free to the attractions. The folks here went above and beyond in their service, you can really feel the hospitality here. Amenities: Has free laundry and self cleaning products like I mentioned as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner options. You can just let them know when you plan on being back and they will cook it up fresh for you before you arrive. So convenient and easy, and their food is delicious as well. Has A/C that you can control as well which is a huge plus in this kind of environment. Overall very sweet and hardworking people here at the homestay. I can tell they genuinely care about the experience of their guests. Beyond that, they are just friendly and knowledgeable people and I learned a lot about the surrounding areas and their town just by listening to them. They seem to get foreign guests pretty often so they know how to get the most out of your time here and how to answer frequent questions we may have. I would 100% stay here again!

The room is very clean, definitely better than the hotel, cost-effective! The boss wife is very good, very patient, send us to the attractions at 7 am! Note ⚠️ But Zhangjiajie West Station takes a taxi. There is a Didi master who said that it is remote and not good. Don't believe it.
