This is a simple, no frills hotel but a perfect base for a one night stay before or after the hike to the famous Zinal glacier cave. The start of the trail is only a five minute walk away from the hotel which is another five minutes away from the center of the village. The staff was very attentive from arrival until departure, always smiling and offering help whenever needed. The rooms are modestly furnished and a coffee cup and a water heater would definitely be welcome additions to prepare a morning coffee but the views certainly make up for it. The breakfast was a very good start to the hiking day with cold cuts, cheeses, eggs and really good birchermüsli. If there are people with intolerances/ allergies in the group, probably best to pre-order or let the hotel know. Given average Swiss prices, it was also good value for money, would happily return if in Zinal again.

Pas des plus enchanté par cet hôtel depuis sa reprise :-( Pour les tarifs pratiqués, pas de bouilloire ni thé ni café ni bouteille d'eau dans la chambre.. Le chambre n'a pas été faites tous les jours :-( Il a fallu réclamer le savon pour les mains... Petit conseil, changez rapidement les rideaux "obscurcissants" qui ne le sont pas du tout donc le matin, grand jour dans la chambre à 7h (en avril donc je vous laisse imaginer en été) Pas de local à ski, on laisse les skis dans le hall.. Sinon, la chambre était propre à mon arrivée, literie en excellent état, endroit calme, personnel (ou patrons) cordiaux.

Petit établissement en fond de vallée, avec une grande terrasse et une super vue ! L'équipe est vraiment sympathique, la demi-pension le soir parfaite, le buffet déjeuner extra, et notre chambre pour 3 était très pratique. On aura du plaisir à revenir !

2 couples d'amis, nous avons passé un très agréable moments "chez Valérie". Elle gère formidable bien une jeune équipe motivée et dynamique. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'accueil, la gentillesse, et la paisibilité de l'endroit. La demi pension était familiale avec pointe d'innovation, qui a su surprendre nos papilles. Le repas du Nouvel-An fut juste dantesque, nous avons été très surpris de la créativité de la cuisine. Merci et Bonne année 2022!
