First, a disclaimer about this review: the service being referred to is primarily the complimentary 'travel photography service' offered by the hotel. When I booked, I didn't see any mention of a fee for this service, and the actual charge ended up being different from what was implied. Please be cautious! The male staff at the front desk were great, and all the other services were excellent. However, there was a female staff member at the front desk in the morning who was so sound asleep I couldn't wake her up. The room itself was really good, and I was even allowed to check in early and received an upgrade, which I truly appreciate. But this travel photography really upset me. I honestly can't give a good rating (which would have gotten me a free photo from the shoot), and I don't want to go against my conscience. If you're considering booking the travel photography service, please think twice!

The hotel is directly opposite Luoyi Ancient City, and its overall architecture has a Republic of China style. The surrounding area also features buildings reminiscent of the 1930s. Next door is a popular internet-famous cafe, where I saw people queuing every day. This hotel was definitely the most satisfying part of my stay in Luoyang. Every staff member was incredibly enthusiastic, making me feel right at home. The Champs Elysees Deluxe King Room was spacious and featured a bathtub and a balcony. I also loved the hotel's interior design, and all the peonies in the garden were in full bloom. Breakfast was served individually, but the taste was a bit bland.

Very satisfied accommodation experience! The location of the homestay is unique and quiet. Not far from the door, it is a snack street, and you can flip the brand on all kinds of food. The owner of the inn is very kind, and there is a very well-behaved dog. The day we left Luoyang was the evening train. The innkeeper was very caring and arranged a room for us, slept in the afternoon and replenished our strength! Full display of the hospitality of the people of Luoyang! Luoyang is a good place worth brushing. I will come next time and stay here.

Our quiet twin room had two queen-sized beds, comfortably accommodating four people. The mattresses were comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were quite clean. It's just a five-minute walk to Qingyuan Garden. The guesthouse breakfast, though limited in variety, was delicious. The two stir-fried dishes were flavorful, and with eggs, staple foods, and hot congee, it was a very satisfying meal. The guesthouse is located on a sunken plaza right next to a river, on the edge of the scenic area. Cars can't drive right up to the entrance; you need to walk across a wooden bridge and look for the large characters 'Anlan Shuju'. Being a two-story inn, the room corridors are quite narrow. If people are sitting and chatting or walking around near your door, it might require some getting used to for those who value peace and privacy. The room itself isn't large; as soon as you enter, there are two beds, which felt a bit cramped initially and took some adjusting to. The only window in the entire room is in the bathroom, which provides ventilation. Housekeeping wasn't very meticulous or timely; the toilet paper rolls were too small and ran out quickly – I suggest providing more rolls. The bathroom drain also had hair that hadn't been cleaned. There's no landline in the room, so if you need anything, you have to call a mobile number or go downstairs to ask. However, when we did ask for things or had questions, the staff's attitude was very good. The price is fair, and if you're not too picky and prefer to walk less, staying here is perfectly fine.

The hotel has a good location and the room environment is OK. The actual room is smaller than the picture, which is OK for a single backpacker like me. It will be cramped if you have a large suitcase or if both of you are pulling a suitcase, you should consider it.

Facilities: Everything is brand new, from the TV to the toilet, all modern models. The room is very spacious with a huge wooden table, which I really loved. They provide plenty of tissues, no skimping here! There are also massive floor-to-ceiling windows, and the view directly faces Shentang, making the night scenery absolutely first-class. Location: It's right next to Mingtang Shentang, and you can walk to Yingtianmen and Jiuzhou Pond. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff diligently tidies up every day. I saw them cleaning very carefully, wiping down tables, TVs, and scrubbing toilets daily. They are also very polite. Service: The owners are both very welcoming and enthusiastic. The proprietress even took care of our breakfast every day. The front desk lady is very kind, sweet, and gentle. There's also intangible cultural heritage rubbings available to try in the lobby.

This was definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in since conning to China. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend everyone stays here because you will have an amazing time

We stayed at Mantingfang. Parking was free, and park admission was also free, which was great as we could return to the hotel to rest anytime. This was especially convenient for seniors and children. Although the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it covered all the basics, and dishes like the wontons and spicy soup were quite tasty. Highly recommend!

The room had great amenities and a pleasant atmosphere.

The outside is a bit messy, but the inside is pretty good. The key is that it's very close to the Experimental Middle School, so overall it's pretty good!
