This stay exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. The front desk service was incredibly warm, with friendly and professional staff who made me feel right at home. Check-in was efficient, and the concierge even proactively helped with my luggage. The excellent service was a real highlight.

This B&B is located within Luoyi Ancient City. Though the entrance isn't grand, once you step inside, it feels like a hidden gem. It's built in the style of a traditional courtyard house, with a rooftop terrace that offers a close-up view of the Drum Tower. The whole place has such a wonderful vibe. We booked a king-size room with a private balcony, which was quite spacious. The furnishings had an antique charm, and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing and birds chirping was incredibly comforting. The mattress and pillows were just the right firmness, perfect for recovering after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom amenities were also excellent, with a lovely fragrance. The towels were soft and comfortable, and surprisingly, they even provided a bath mat, which you usually only find in high-end hotels. It made us feel both reassured and pampered – seems like the owner has great taste! 😉 The front desk staff was also very welcoming and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. However, there was one minor issue: the bathroom mirror in the room was a bit impractical. It was quite far from the sink, and there was no magnifying mirror 🪞. As someone who needs to get close to the mirror to put in contact lenses, I found this inconvenient. 😂 Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this B&B! 👍👍👍

The high-end hotel experience was absolutely fantastic! The rooms were spacious and bright, with brand new, well-equipped facilities. The executive lounge offered a rich variety of food, and the drinks were delicious. Maggie, a service staff member, was professional and kind, proactively offering help with mailing services. The room type had an excellent view, making it the perfect choice for rest and relaxation.

Wonderful stay. Definitely will recommend to others. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, host is friendly. Location is great. Away from the ancient city, You turn left from the inn to the main road, there is a really popular dumpling shop next to the police station, and on the main road if you turn left, there is a massage parlour on level 3, and further down is the night food market with great food. (Much better than what they offer in the ancient city) ranging from a 5-15 min walk. If you head towards the ancient city, turn right from the inn and it feels like you’re there already, but it’s just the outside of the wall, about 5 mins walk, you meet the actual entrance. And super picturesque. Thank you host. You guys are great!

I would like to express our sincere appreciation for the professionalism and warm hospitality we experienced during our recent stay at the Luoyang Marriott. From the friendly doormen who welcomed us upon arrival to the pleasant fragrance that greeted us in the elegant, modern lobby, every aspect of our stay reflected comfort and attention to detail. The front desk staff were consistently courteous and attentive, making our visit both relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed in Room 2112, which was exceptionally well maintained. The bed was clean and comfortable, the bathroom and shower were spotless, and the minibar was properly stocked. Although our sightseeing schedule in Luoyang kept us busy and prevented us from using the indoor swimming pool, it looked beautiful and very inviting. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of options, including hot and cold dishes, an egg station, fresh salads, cheeses and cold cuts, desserts, espresso coffee, teas, and cold beverages. I have a sensitivity to seed oils, and I would especially like to thank the kind lady at the egg station who graciously prepared my eggs in butter each morning. I would also like to recognize Bella, Rachel, and Felix at the front desk for their outstanding assistance and for kindly accommodating our request to extend our stay by an extra night. Special thanks as well to Alvin in the breakfast restaurant, who always had my favorite picante sauce ready and provided exceptional service. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made us feel truly valued. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. The service, hospitality, and overall experience exceeded our expectations. In fact, our 8-year-old daughter has already said that she wants to return to Luoyang—and stay at the Marriott again.

The best hotel to stay in Luoyang, perfect location in the oldtown part of the city. It ais a beautiful newly renovated heritage house turned into hotel. The staffs are amazing, very helpful. My husband got injured during this trip and the staffs so helpful with everything to make sure our holiday went smoothly. Room was quite big for 3 of us, all equipped with smart tech. Staffs speak abit english but there is a translator device and we communicate with wechat so no problem at all. Very recommended place to stay in luoyang

The lobby is on the first floor and quite grand. It's very convenient to take the elevator directly to your room, unlike some hotels where you have to take one elevator to the lobby and then another. Much easier! After checking out, I received a call from them saying they found my lost charging cable and notified me promptly, so I was able to retrieve it. I really commend the hotel's service quality and speed. I highly recommend this hotel. It's very close to Mixc City, the headquarters of Mixue Ice Cream & Tea, and the future Pang Dong Lai.

The location is very convenient, whether it is not far from Shangqiu Ancient City, Wanda or the railway station/high-speed rail station, take a taxi or ride a small yellow car soon, eating and shopping around is also very convenient, The most satisfying thing is the room hygiene, there is no smell at the door, the floor and desktop are very clean, the sheets and quilts look very new, the bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the hot water comes out very fast, and the bath is very comfortable. Although it is economical, there are some: air conditioning heating/refrigeration to force, Wi-Fi speed is fast, sound insulation is good, rest is very quiet at night, the front desk service is also very good, check-in is very fast. This price can live in a room with this condition. I really feel that I have found a treasure. The province should be a flower. Next time I come to Shangqiu, I will choose here. I recommend it to friends who are pursuing cost-effectiveness!

Our stay at Qichi Riverside B&B in Luoyang was truly wonderful! The location is great, very close to Luoyi Ancient City, and the surroundings are beautiful and quiet. The B&B host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. They helped us hang our clothes to dry and even lent us their phone number to order takeout 📱. Every day, there was hot coffee and milk tea available, and before we left, they even gave us a small gift. It was full of warm hospitality ❤️.

This hotel seems to be a state-owned, old-fashioned luxury hotel with a rather retro decor. The facilities are decent, and the service is good. Communication was very smooth, and a key point for us was that they provided a bed rail for our little one. I'd like to extend a special thank you to Ms. Jia Qingxia from Housekeeping. She helped us coordinate a room change in the evening. With her assistance, we were able to rearrange the bed and the sofa/coffee table, and she expertly installed and secured the bed rail for us. This made our eight-month-old feel very safe and secure. Thanks also to Supervisor Zhang and his team of drivers. The hotel's airport shuttle service is excellent. They helped us with our luggage when getting in and out of the car, and even lifted the stroller. They were also very helpful in answering questions about connecting flights to high-speed trains from a guest's perspective. Kudos to these responsible and caring staff members! 👍
