The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city and within walking distance to shopping malls, popular attractions, and many food options. It’s very convenient for both leisure and short stays. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with a nice city view. The bed was comfortable, and the basic amenities were well provided. Housekeeping did a good job maintaining cleanliness throughout the stay.

During busy season such as Christmas, the hotel can get very pack. The amenities area on lvl 9 is packed to the brim. Room card also doesn't work for gym. Similar to what many reviews mentioned before, the lifts are inadequate but nothing much could be done. Be prepared to wait up to 15 mins during the morning rush. Staff try their best to serve everyone during the busy period, but there's only so much they can do. Online pictures are accurate. Don't expect much luxury but the rooms are big. Perhaps could try during lull season.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Pines Melaka Hotel and was incredibly satisfied with my experience. The room space was wonderfully generous, providing ample room to relax and move around comfortably. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the bathtub. It was exceptionally clean, and the ability to enjoy a good view while soaking was a fantastic touch that truly enhanced the relaxation. This is a crucial factor for a comfortable trip, and the hotel certainly delivered. Beyond the comfort, I was very impressed with the hotel's aesthetic. The design is modern and cozy, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a genuinely satisfying stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel for family or business😊

Stay here with my friend because she got into an accident and she doesn't have a place to stay especially with her injuries. I paid like RM134 per night and I stayed there for 2 nights in a row. It's definitely a very comfortable stay, complete amenities, respectful front desk tho a bit too slow like they took more than 10 minutes just to process online booking. The price reflected the place. Very close to MITC Mydin and there's also Watson nearby along with other shops like Secret Recipe, Bakers Cottage, Ayam Gepuk, Zus Coffee. Amenities are amazing, complete toiletries (soap, bath gel, shampoo, conditioner, shower cap, bath towels, small towels, toilet paper etc I can't even remember what else) They also prepared plastic bag. The room is very big, lots of space for prayers. Got a vanity table along with huge mirrors. There was 2 mineral bottles with a kettle, cups, spoons, an instant noodle cup, instant coffee and milk tea. The air conditioning and tv works as well even tho the tv only shows some basic channels. They also got room service for meals but as expected with quite an expensive price. Also got a huge window with city view.

The room was clean and well-kept, providing a nice space to rest after a day of sightseeing. While the facilities are not particularly luxurious, everything functioned as expected and met the basic needs of a short stay. The staff were the highlight of the experience. They were friendly, polite, and always willing to help whenever I needed assistance. Their warm attitude made the overall stay feel more welcoming. The location is convenient, with easy access to Melaka’s main attractions such as Jonker Street and the river area. It’s suitable for guests looking for a fuss-free hotel that’s reasonably priced and comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Overall, Bayview Hotel Melaka is an average but reliable option—clean rooms, helpful staff, and a good base for exploring the city.

This 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms with 3 queen beds. It's just nice for 6 people to sleep comfortably. New, clean and tidy. Well equipped with basic kitchenware and tableware. Airconds, fans, refrigerator, cooker, microwave, kettle and washer all function well. Swimming pool with great sea view. Kid friendly playground. Basketball court and game room need to booking. Kids had fun playing table tennis. The mini pool sticks were broken cannot play. The security staff was very helpful to assist us to book the room. Agent was very responsive too. Overall very good service. Best price and quality stay. Recommended. Thanks.

I extended my stay for one night and both my parents and my room key card kept deactivating for several times. Imagine you need to walk all the way to the lift, realised the card is not working, then walk back to the reception to keep validating your room card. I've went to the reception the night before original check out to inform the staff. And furthermore when I am out sightseeing during the day, someone called me to confirm I am extending my stay, yet the card still kept deactivating. Housekeeping is also not done when we returned to the room at 3.30pm. We need to request them to come and it delayed our shower and our subsequent plans. Not only that, they took away the toilet mat and did not replace it and we need to call housekeeping again and wait for it to be replaced before we can take a shower. There is also a leak in the bathroom so the entire housekeeping and pipe fixing took really long. The cleaning of the pool is also done in the morning at 8.30am after it is opened, while the pool closes at 8pm at night. All the staff are nice and trying their best, but it looks like they are understaffed and could not perform their required duties as housekeeping is not done in time and the pool is cleaned during opening times. For the price charged and their rating as a 5 star hotel, the amenities and service just doesn't match. I would not recommend.

Exceeded expectations, this was the best hotel experience during our trip to Malaysia, which covered four cities (Kuala Lumpur, Semporna, Kota Kinabalu, and Malacca)! The hotel is very cozy and just the right size. Its location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Malacca River banks, Jonker Street, and the Dutch Square (Red House). We were on the 15th floor, overlooking the picturesque 'S' bend of the Malacca River. The room was spacious and well-designed, with a sofa that could be used as a child's bed.

Overall good. Location is good if you wish to finish red square, jonker street is 1.6km away which is walkable as you will hit all the other landmarks on the way there. Food options are great as it is near many restaurants which has good reviews.
