"The resort rooms are quite spacious, with windows directly facing the sea. The highlight of Angsana Teluk Bahang, Penang is the outdoor infinity pool on the third floor. I went swimming every day, and the sunsets in the evening were beautiful for photos. The beach down from the hotel is very quiet and the water is clean, feeling much better than the nearby Ferringhi Beach. It's very convenient to get to the National Park, and you can walk or take a Grab to Teluk Bahang nearby for food. The prices are good, Sweet Home No.2 near the park is great, and Da Dong Seafood is also good."

"Here’s a summary feedback about my stay: Unsatisfied : 1) There is some hiccup on the check in process. Arrived late for check in and found out the access card was not in the mail box for collection (as per instruction guide). But the owner of the property took an effort to arrange a trip within 30mins to handover a pair of substitute access cards. Although some delay but have to give some credit to the owner on making the effort to solve this problem. 2) Sunday check out is a nightmare 😱 This building is very high density. It took me and my family 30 mins to finally get a lift from my unit floor go down to the car park. Would recommend you plan your time wisely. Satisfied : 1) The view for this unit is absolutely beautiful. All the 2 bedrooms and living room has a huge glass window and it’s facing sea view with the Penang bridge! 😍 2) Cleanliness is by far one of the best in the list among all the air bnb stayed before. 😍 3) Location is great for those who have car. It may take about 10-15mins drive to the Georgetown area. 4) Convenient stall is available at the lobby of the building. 👍🏻 5) Very responsible and responsive 👍🏻 Overall it’s really a nice place to stay for family with 8 pax. Would recommend to friend and families to stay this particular unit! 👍🏻"

"Had a really enjoyable staycation. The room was comfortable and just right for 4 people. Towels, iron, pillows, mineral water, coffee... all the basic amenities were fine. The bathtub and toilet were clean. However, upon checking in, as soon as I opened the door, the room had a stale smell. Perhaps it was because of showering in the room, making it a bit wet and damp. The hotel also gave a special warning about Charlie ants. The air conditioning was extremely cold. The TV channels were acceptable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. I was able to check in 15 minutes early and check out an hour late, which was great. There were so many choices for breakfast, I was very happy. The famous Natrah Nasi Kandar is just a 2-minute walk away. Parking felt safe. Overall, it was excellent."

"It takes a little over half an hour from the airport to the hotel by Grab, costing around 50. There is free Wi-Fi at the airport Grab pickup point. The hotel breakfast is rich with plenty of Chinese breakfast options, thumbs up. There is also an outdoor swimming pool."

"The hotel is contemporary with Noyanya design. The staff is friendly, the guard is helpful. The breakfast is varied western and Asian cuisine. The swimming pool is kids friendly and near to the beach. There are fews restaurants opposite the hotel . The body wash, hair shampoo and conditioner makes my hair smooth. We always stay this hotel whenever we visit Penang. It’s our favourite hotel."

"I stayed in Kuala Lumpur for five days at a hotel that claimed to be a direct branch of a certain domestic chain. I called the Kuala Lumpur branch from China and spoke to an Indian female receptionist, informing her I was a platinum member and requesting a room upgrade for my stay from September 12th to 17th. When I arrived and asked for the upgrade, the Indian receptionist I had spoken to wasn't there. Instead, there was a Malay female receptionist. They then called the Indian receptionist who had promised me the upgrade. After taking my payment for the five days, the Indian receptionist became extremely rude and even pretended that the Malay receptionist who was checking me in was her subordinate and that she was the boss. Eventually, I found out that a Chinese person, who didn't seem to be around much, was actually the Hotel Manager. The front desk staff generally didn't speak Chinese. It was chaotic for a direct branch of a domestic chain. I requested a refund. The female receptionist was uncooperative and refused. I tried to contact the domestic chain's customer service, but they were intentionally unresponsive. After all, I am a platinum member. The direct branch didn't provide an invoice, and since I was on a business trip, I needed an invoice from mainland China, not a local receipt for external trips. Later, I went to Penang for business and cautiously booked a 3-day stay at Nio Hotel through Ctrip. I've been scammed by so many companies in China, big and small, so I was careful. The 3-day cost wasn't much, so the potential loss would be minimal. I carefully reviewed Nio Hotel and its AI analysis. The hotel itself was fine, but it lacked toothbrushes and slippers. I had a toothbrush in my luggage as I travel globally for business frequently, and I had planned to bring slippers from the KL hotel but forgot. I flew business class from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, hoping to get a pair of slippers there, but the business class attendant said they didn't have any. When I arrived at Nio Hotel, I found that my room had a toothbrush and slippers, which was great. It had a window, and despite the Muslim prayer calls and the sound of speeding cars, I usually carry earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones, so I slept well. Due to what might be hotel cost-cutting, I found a long strand of woman's hair on my bath towel on the third day. AI helped me analyze that this hotel might be extremely cost-conscious, but given the higher cost of living in Malaysia, which follows the British Commonwealth system, the price was incredibly good value. All the front desk staff when I checked in were Malay and Indian. While I speak Chinese, I also speak English, so it doesn't matter if the front desk staff speaks Chinese or not, as long as they don't speak Arabic, which I don't understand. I also know a bit of Japanese and German. Durian in Kuala Lumpur was too expensive. I bought a piece of Musang King durian to taste at the base of the tallest building in KL, Menara Monica. At Nio Hotel in Penang, I went downstairs to eat durian and met a large group of wealthy Chinese from Surabaya, Indonesia. They were indulging in Musang King durian, each costing 300 Malaysian Ringgit (nearly 500 RMB). I ate a 50 MYR Kunyit King. These Indonesians must have very high incomes. I also saw some Filipino Chinese feasting on durians costing hundreds of Malaysian Ringgit. The incomes of Filipino Chinese must certainly surpass those in China's first-tier cities. While at Nio Hotel, I drank free coffee at the front desk, but I was concerned about the cup hygiene. Suddenly, an East Asian-looking female manager appeared, spoke Chinese, and told me it was clean and safe to drink. I didn't re-wash it with water and had several cups of coffee. Finally, when checking out to fly to Guangzhou, I had another cup of coffee at the front desk around 6:00 AM. My flight was at 8:15 AM. I had already called a taxi, driven by a young Malay man. I forgot that the driver who was picking me up for the airport had arrived while I was drinking coffee. After finishing my coffee, I went downstairs and told the waiting driver, 'I am here.' The driver said it was fine and that getting to the airport would be smooth. It's been several days since I returned, and the nearby restaurant even refunded me 35 Malaysian Ringgit because on the first day, there was a black spot on a vegetable leaf in my dish. The waiter explained it was a bug bite or something. Anyway, this stay at Nio Hotel was very good value for money."

"Good, Comfortable Stay Near Georgetown's Main Attractions Despite ”luxury” being in the hotel name, the property is not ultra-luxurious, but it is a very solid, pleasant accommodation. The rooms are spacious, pretty clean, and the Wi-Fi works well. Having a coffee machine in the room was a great bonus. The location is excellent—very close to the main attractions in Georgetown. The staff members are polite, and the swimming pool was fine. My only minor complaint was that the air conditioning was a bit loud at times, but it wasn't a serious issue. Overall, a comfortable stay and a great base for exploring Georgetown!"

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights and was very satisfied with everything. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the environment was pleasant, truly giving a 'facing the sea, with spring blossoms' vibe. The only thing I was unhappy with was the salesperson at the gift shop next to the lobby on the first floor. I bought a bunch of fridge magnets, and after paying, I asked if they had a gift bag, even offering to pay for it. The Malaysian saleswoman wearing a headscarf suddenly yelled at me, meaning they don't provide gift bags and told me to get out quickly. She really yelled, which was a bit baffling and not a polite tone at all. She clearly wasn't friendly to Chinese people. One star for this attendant. Since the shop is inside the hotel, I consider it bad service. It instantly ruined my mood."

"Had a wonderful stay at Hard Rock Hotel Penang! The facilities were excellent, and the service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping team. They were very attentive, always willing to help, and responded quickly whenever we needed assistance. The sea and pool views were absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more enjoyable. The kids had so much fun and truly enjoyed their time here. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely come back again! Highly recommended! 🤘🌊🏊♂️"
