"My three-day stay at the Grand Margherita Hotel was the highlight of my trip to Kuching. Situated right in the heart of the city, the location is unbeatable. Being steps away from the iconic Cat Statue and the scenic Kuching Waterfront made exploring the city on foot incredibly easy. My room was facing the cat statue. The breakfast buffet was amazing,. Their Sarawak Laksa and Kolo Mee are authentic and packed with local flavor. I also love the Roti Jala. While the hotel carries a classic charm, the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The staff truly embody Sarawakian hospitality—friendly, attentive, and always ready with a smile."

"Front desk is very helpful and check in was very quick. Room is very big and is simiar to pictures posted on website. Toiletries and slippers are provided. Cafe at level 4, food is nice. Theres a shopping centre next to mall. Many eateries opposite, and more variety of local food. Theres also their local market 10mins away. Police station is right next to it. Felt safe for a solo traveller."

"Had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering good value for money. The hotel is convenient located near the airport and connected to a shopping mall, making it easy to access food and essential. Breakfast was enjoyable with good variety of options, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful. However, there was a blackout during my stay that lasted more than 30 minutes, and it appeared that there was no backup generator available. Fortunately, it occurred in the early morning when there was some natural light. It would have been more challenging if it had happened at night. This is an area the hotel need to look into. Overall, still a comfortable stay, but improvements in this aspect would enhance the experience further."

"The hotel is beautifully designed, with an elegant atmosphere that creates a very comfortable stay. The interior is stylish, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to have a great night's sleep. However, I believe the hotel should pay more attention to housekeeping and quality control, especially considering it is a newly opened property. The white coffee table in my room was covered with a noticeable layer of dust. When I wiped it with my hand, dust came off immediately. Surprisingly, the other tables in the room were clean, so it seemed that this particular table had been overlooked. I also found dust on the floor beside the glass panel next to the bathtub, which looked as though it had not been cleaned. In addition, there was a loose screw beside the fish tank, along with visible traces of unfinished construction or installation work. These details should have been properly cleaned up and inspected before the room was handed over to guests. The weighing scale also had visible dirty marks on it, which did not leave a good impression. Another disappointment was that I called Guest Services twice to report these issues, but no one answered either call. In the end, I gave up trying. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed the hotel's beautiful design, elegant ambience, and comfortable bed. My experience would have been much better if more attention had been given to cleanliness, room inspection, and guest service. I hope the management will address these issues, as the hotel has great potential to provide an excellent guest experience. Should the hotel require further clarification, I would be happy to provide videos documenting the issues I encountered during my stay. "The price truly reflects a 5-star hotel. It's suitable for wealthy individuals or when paid for by a company. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are lovely, the service is excellent, and the facilities are complete. The only drawback is its location, which is quite far from town."

"Stayed for 5d 4n. Overall was good, staff were very welcoming, limited basement parking. Not sure if we can park at Puteri Basement Parking. No clear instructions given. We were dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the bed, we asked for a change after second day of our stay but we noticed the they did not change. The location was superb anyways. Breakfast spread were moderate. We expected more options."

"I have been staying at this hotel for the past two years because I enjoy its ambience and location compared to other hotels in Sibu. I would describe it as one of the newer hotels in the area, and it has generally been well maintained. However, during my visits over the past six months, I have noticed several issues that require attention from the management. For example, the hair dryer was not functioning, the shower gel and shampoo dispensers were either not properly refilled or not working, and the balcony was not cleaned thoroughly. While these are not major issues individually, if they are not addressed promptly, they may eventually affect the hotel's reputation and guest satisfaction. At the moment, I would rate the hotel 3 out of 5 stars. Nevertheless, I will continue staying here because of its convenience and overall comfort, unless I find a better alternative in Sibu. I sincerely hope to see improvements in the near future. Thank you."

"The staff very friendly,hotel very clean Everything is great..great for transit overnight with the super close distant to airport,and they also provide free transport to airport on your preference time,very humble and friendly driver as well. Happy with my stay..and will come back again next time"
