Canyoneering @Kawasan Falls

To celebrate my Birthday this year, I took the family out for some extreme adventure. It is the first time for us to do Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls in Cebu and it turned out to be quite a challenge yet one for the books. It started with a quick ride via motorbike and off road truck to the drop off point. We had a short orientation then started a trek to up the canyon and down to the falls. We started with a quick jump through a 5 meter drop in crystal clear cold waters of the Canyon. Then a drop facing backwards which I found a lot easier as I did not have to see the intimidating drop like the previous drop. We kept moving. A combination of hiking and swimming, with drops getting higher and more challenging which ended in a 4 hour journey to the main falls. It was out of my usual comfort zone but we'll worth it.
