Chaozhou Kaiyuan Temple

Chaozhou Kaiyuan Temple, the oldest temple in Chaozhou, is collectively referred to as the Four Great Kaiyuan Temples together with Quanzhou, Taiyuan, and Fuzhou Kaiyuan Temples. Chaozhou Kaiyuan Temple is located on Kaiyuan Road in Chaozhou city. It has been through more than a thousand years from the Tang Dynasty to the present, and has undergone several repairs. With the Tang style as the base, it also condenses the architectural art essence of the Song, Ming, and Qing Dynasties. It is a group of palace-style quadrangle buildings, very worth seeing, and is known as the "First Ancient Temple in Eastern Guangdong".
