Passing by Chaozhou·Guangji Bridge

Guangji Bridge, formerly known as Kangji Bridge, Dinghou Bridge, and Jichuan Bridge, commonly known as Xiangzi Bridge, and also referred to as Chaozhou Xiangzi Bridge, is located outside the east gate of the ancient city of Chaozhou, Guangdong Province. Spanning the Han River, it connects the east and west banks and was a vital thoroughfare from ancient Guangdong to Zhejiang. It combines the features of beam bridges, pontoon bridges, and arch bridges, making it one of the eight scenic spots in Chaozhou and a unique example in the history of Chinese bridges. After the Spring Festival, a friend invited me to visit the Chaoshan area to see the local customs, and Guangji Bridge is a must-visit spot. This bridge is quite special; you must visit it once during the day and again at night. Why?
