Travel Notes of the Ancient City - Guangji Bridge

After visiting Han Ci, I went to Guangji Bridge, which integrates beam bridges, pontoon bridges, and arch bridges. It is a unique example of ancient bridges in China, known for its 'eighteen ferry boats and twenty-four islets' style. Along with Zhaozhou Bridge, Luoyang Bridge, and Lugou Bridge, it is hailed as one of the four great ancient bridges in China. The famous bridge expert Mao Yisheng praised it as 'the world's earliest lift bridge'. Walking on Guangji Bridge, you can get close to the Han River, feel the river breeze, and appreciate the live performances of intangible cultural heritage inheritors and master craftsmen of Chao embroidery and hand-pulled pottery.
