Xishuangbanna feels like summer all year round

Jinghong City's Dajinta Temple is located at the site of the ancient Buddha Temple Wazhuang De, which dates back over 1300 years, and is now the main temple of Jinghong City, overseeing all 205 temples in Jinghong. It is a sacred place for the dissemination of Theravada Buddhist culture. Right next to Dajinta Temple is the famous internet celebrity check-in spot 'Gaozhuang Xishuangjing', which in Dai language means 'Nine Pagodas and Twelve Villages'. It is open to the public with no admission fee. Gaozhuang Xishuangjing is the first impression of Xishuangbanna, with various internet celebrities and unique photography teams from all over the country streaming in continuously, and travel photography shops can be seen everywhere. The predecessor of Manting Royal Garden was the Royal Garden of the Dai King. It has inherited over 1300 years of history and culture and is the soul of Dai culture in Xishuangbanna. The garden that visitors see today has been rebuilt based on the relics of the Royal Garden. Upon entering, there is a bronze statue of Zhou Enlai, commemorating his participation in the Dai Water-Splashing Festival in 1961, which is also a display of red culture. In the Dai ethnic exhibition hall, the zodiac has the elephant replacing the pig; when in Xishuangbanna, those born in the year of the pig should follow local customs and consider themselves born in the year of the elephant. Manting Park and the main temple are separated by just one door. The white pagoda in Manting Park is merely a decoration, with empty niches, and the building is only for tourists to take photos. In contrast, the white pagoda of the main temple is the tomb of the last Dai King. Mengle Great Buddha Temple was rebuilt on the original site of the royal temple 'Jingpiao Buddha Temple' of the ancient Dai dynasty. 'Jingpiao Buddha Temple' was built by a Dai King named Balong in memory of his deceased queen, Nansha Weibian. The queen was a devout Buddhist, so on every festival, the Dai King would personally visit the temple to hold large-scale Dharma assemblies to commemorate his beloved queen and promote Buddhism. Jingpiao Hall, the core building of the entire temple, is also where monks gather for daily practice. It is the essence of Xishuangbanna architecture, with a strong local style. Prajna Temple is located on the back half of the mountain in Manzhen Village, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna, away from the bustling city, in a tranquil environment. Prajna Temple was founded in 833 and is a Buddhist temple, meaning 'wisdom that penetrates everything'. It has been rebuilt, and the temple is not large, with only one main hall. In the middle of the main hall is a large pagoda. Apart from the golden Buddha statue enshrined within, the architecture itself is symmetrical from any angle, giving it a sense of solid balance. The Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is a paradise for plant lovers, where many rare and exotic plants can be seen.
