Xishuangbanna | The Top Attraction of the Park | The Holy Land for Photography | Manting Park

When you come to Xishuangbanna, don't just know about the Starlight Night Market, Manting Park is the most hardcore scenic spot, much more fun than many 5A tourist attractions. Manting Park is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, with a history of over 1300 years. It was built by the Dai king specifically for the Dai queen, and it is also the most popular place for those who love photography, as you can tell by the number of travel photographers here. 📍Address: No. 35 Manting Road, it's very close to the downtown area, it is recommended to enter from the northwest gate, and right after entering is the Dai king's palace. 💰Ticket Price: 40 yuan per person, the bonfire performance in the evening requires a separate ticket, the cheapest is 280 yuan per seat 🕙Opening Hours: You can go during the day and at night 🌟Photo Spots: 👉Thousand-Year-Old Tree Forest and Leaf Garden: This is the green plant area of the park, like a tropical rainforest, with sunlight filtering down through the tall trees, this kind of light is most suitable for tropical rainforest-themed photos. 👉Elephant Show: Walk to the southernmost end, you can see the lovely elephants bringing a wonderful performance, this place is much more convenient than the Wild Elephant Valley, and it's a favorite for children. 👉Royal Elephant Cafe: The red building is full of exotic atmosphere, and the stairs or in front of the second-floor building are very popular spots. It's just too crowded. 👉White Pavilion: On the lawn in front of the cafe, the white Thai-style pavilion, you can take a high-angle shot of a large scene from the second floor of the cafe, and it's also great to take close-ups inside the white pavilion. 👉White Pagoda and Golden Pagoda: The white pagoda in Manting Park is built in imitation of the Manfeilong White Pagoda, and each of the six sides of the pagoda can be photographed, a famous internet celebrity check-in spot (Prajna Temple). Next to the white pagoda is the Earth Goddess Wishing Pool (I call it the Golden Pagoda), which can also be photographed, and there are very few people. 👉Royal Lotus Pond: Walking on the wooden bridge walkway above the pond, you can photograph the octagonal bridge and the lotus pond. 👉Dai King's Palace: It's near the entrance, there are several buildings like the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand, both the exterior and interior are very luxurious, with exquisite workmanship. You can get to Thailand without leaving the country. There is also a milky yellow pavilion in the nearby woods, which is a favorite photo spot for tourists. 👉General Buddha Temple: Strictly speaking, this is already outside the park, but it is directly connected, right next to the white pagoda. From entering at around six or seven in the evening to ending after 9:00. There are welcoming dances, shows, experiences of releasing water lanterns, bonfire parties, and for those who are new to Xishuangbanna, you can experience the rich ethnic customs and quickly get into the vacation state. The downside is that the buffet is not very tasty.
