Miao Long Table Feast

The custom of the 'Miao Long Table Feast' has a long history, originating from the Miao's tradition of receiving relatives and marrying off daughters, and the fellowship with guests from other villages. Over time, it has evolved into a festive way for the Miao to celebrate the New Year, and has become the highest form and most solemn etiquette for hosting guests in the Miao community. The thousand-person long table feast in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is set up along the ancient street, stretching about three hundred meters long. It resembles a winding dragon with its head seen but not its tail, a truly magnificent sight.
