Shuhe old city - a hidden gem near Lijiang

Getting There - by taxi from Lijiang (20 min drive) Attractions - shuhe old town eat and stay at bivou (best find ever) Shuhe old town has similar old architecture as Lijiang but it’s less touristy and truly a world heritage site. After only visiting it for a day I regret not staying there in the first place as it is a far better choice than Lijiang. Bivou is a magical place for coffee or lunch overseeing the farmers working on the farm and the squirrels going up and down on the wires and trees. The food comes fresh from their garden and it’s all so delicious.
