This park, which served as a shooting location for Forrest Gump, is considered the back garden of Los Angeles. You can try all kinds of sports on the beach. A famous LA mall is also located nearby. In the middle of the beach is an amusement park, where you can take a ride on a roller coaster or ferris wheel. There is no shortage of restaurants or street performances here. Venice Beach is also pretty close by, so check it out if you can!

Sunsets under the famous Santa Monica pier. This was a quick 25 minute drive from Los Angeles airport and one of our favorite places we’ve ever had a romantic date! After strolling along the pier to get ice cream and riding the rides, we set up a picnic on the beach just in time to watch the pink sky light up.

We could live in Los Angeles. We really could. Because we travel fulltime we get to see all these amazing places and we often ask ourselves: would we be able to live here? The answer is almost always negative, except for L.A. It's difficult to explain, but the vibe you feel in L.A. is something you won't find anywhere else.

Fun amusement park on Santa Monica Beach. Although the paradise is not big, there are many tourists. If you are in Santa Monica, you may come here to play. 🚗Transportation: By bus or by car to Santa Monica. The pedestrian bridge leads to the pier. The amusement park is at the end of the bridge, in front of Highway 66 signage. ✌️How to play:The two most popular items in the amusement park are the roller coaster and the ferris wheel. These two items cannot be missed. Others such as jumping machines and rotating wheels can be selected according to time. In the direction of the pier, you can take a panoramic view of the amusement park. The Ferris wheel in the amusement park is the most suitable for background photography. 🕙The best time to play: In the afternoon, to avoid the hottest time of noon, you can go to the dock to watch the sunset at the sea.
