Unlocked the 'Malacca' from my middle school geography textbook I traveled from Kuala Lumpur to Malacca and back in one day, The round-trip by bus is very convenient, costing about 20 Malaysian Ringgit. Tickets can be purchased online (🔍redbus) or at the ticket counter (which may involve a long queue), Online payments can be made with master/visa, while cash is accepted offline. Take a taxi from downtown Kuala Lumpur to the TBS (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan) bus terminal, which costs about 11MR. Alternatively, take the subway from KL Sentral, ride the KILATransit to Bandar Tasik Selatan station, then walk across the sky bridge to TBS. 🌟One-day itinerary: Jonker Street➡️Dutch Square➡️Malacca River (boat rides available)➡️St. Paul's Church➡️St. John's Fort➡️Sultanate Palace➡️Malacca Strait Mosque After arriving by bus, you can take a taxi directly to Jonker Street. The main attractions are all around this area. ✅Jonker Street: The local Chinatown, with plenty of food and entertainment ✅Dutch Square: Buildings from the Dutch colonial period ✅St. Paul's Church: Requires a short climb ✅Malacca River: A boat tour costs 30MR ✅St. John's Fort/Sultanate Palace ✅Malacca Strait Mosque🕌️ You need to take a taxi to get there, and it's a good spot to watch the sunset. After watching the sunset, you can take a taxi to the night market, where the local Chinese recommended us how to eat well and save money (see the last picture) 🌟City Transport Taking a taxi is recommended, as it's cheap and convenient. You can use Grab or AirAsia, with AirAsia offering discounts for new users, making it even cheaper. 🌟Food I tried a Nasi Lemak and a Durian Ice, which were quite average, so I won't recommend them. ⚠️Many shops in Malacca only accept cash or local cards, so be sure to bring enough cash.
