Getting There - by train from Kunming Attractions - palm trees, hot weather and the border of vietnam Hotels - Hilton or Zhongyun Food & Restaurants - spoilt for choice from delicious local food to all the staples you see around china Shopping - many places for souvenirs and a mall in the downtown area 🌴 Hot weather all year round, delicious food, close to the Vietnamese border… need i say more? well if that hasn’t swayed you to visit this hidden gem of a city, let me explain! Yunnan is known for delicious food, year round spring-summer weather and beautiful sights and there are too many beautiful cities to name! Whilst I recommend you visit them all, don’t let this one fly under the radar! this lesser visited city has great food, great nightlife and stunning scenery. From mountains 🏔️, lakes and parks, to picking organic strawberries (even in winter), a quick car ride further down and you can visit a river but not just any river, the opposite side is Vietnam, where you will see Vietnamese locals only a stones throw away. all in all, sure you can visit the usual tourist areas but why not go on an adventure? this is one you will not regret
