Qixia Mountain is alone in Nanjing. It does not compete with the Confucius Temple. It does not compete with the Jiming Temple. It is quietly guarded by the Yangtze River. Nan Qi Yongming died in the second year of Mingxi Shao, and left his last words, donated his residence in the mountain as a temple, known as "Qixia Jingshe", the predecessor of Qixia Temple. The mountain was also renamed Qixia Mountain.
