Beary Snowy Fun!

Kickstarted the second day of our Noboribetsu trip at the Noboribetsu Bear Park and it didn’t disappoint! It was about 5-10mins hike up the stairs from the village center to the cable car station. We were blessed with snow fall mid way our park walking! There are bears enclosures, duck race, Ainu village museum. We were lucky to see the special salmon cable car cabin, where salmon were hung on old wooden cable cars during winter to air dry and it is apparently a delicacy that’s alway fully reserved! The bear park is extremely fun for all ages! There are bear feeds available for purchase from the vending machine, where you can throw into the open enclosure, there’s also a human enclosure feeding area where the bears and you are just a glass apart, and you can feed them through a tube system. Every hour there’s also a duck race where everyone can get to place a bet on a duck and get to win some cute souvenirs. Due to its high altitude, the viewing gallery allows you to take extremely nice photos of the surrounding from a high point!
